Andre Brown heads to Denver as Giants fill practice squad

Running back Andre Brown’s impressive preseason didn’t get him a roster spot in New York, but it did get him a better opportunity for playing time in Denver.

The Broncos claimed Brown off waivers, according to the New York Daily News.  He may displace Bruce Hall off the Broncos roster, if we had to guess.

The Giants did get quarterback Rhett Bomar through waivers.  The rest of their practice includes: DT Nate Collins, CB Seth Williams, OL Jim Cordle, TEs Bear Pascoe and Jake Ballard, RB Shawnbrey McNeal, and S Sha’reff Rashad.

McNeal came from the Chargers.
