Haynesworth expected to play, but probably won't play much

A weekend report by Jason Reid of the Washington Post that featured Redskins staffers lambasting Albert Haynesworth had many wondering if Haynesworth would be active for Sunday night’s game.

Reid writes Monday that Haynesworth is expected to play, according to a source.  It just doesn’t appear that he’ll have a big role.

Multiple reporters at Redskins practice said that Haynesworth wasn’t practicing with the starting unit.  John Keim of the Washington Examiner said he didn’t see Haynesworth take snaps with the first or second team nickel packages either.

It looks like Haynesworth will be held in purgatory for a little while longer, but at least Donovan McNabb returned to the field.  He practiced Monday and is fully expected to start Sunday against Dallas.

Anybody for falls for this crap is a complete dumbass. Shan-a-tan is not going to let his ego and goal to “tame” (as he reportedly said) Fat Albert get that much in the way of his bigger goal to win.

Haynesworth is fat. Glad to see Mcnabb’s ready to go! I really wish they would get another decent reciever opposite Moss. Damn ravens and Chargers.
    hmm lets think
    Roydell Williams? nah he sucks
Joey Galloway? wish he was here 4 years younger.
Devin Thomas? Do they even throw him the ball?
Anthony Armstrong? offseason favorite but does anyone know of him?
Brandon Banks? Unless hes got space hes gonna get killed.

well, he can still collect his paychecks at least. and he gets to stay healthy, which is something he’s never been particularly good at

This would only last until the second or third time whichever no name is starting in front of Haynesworth gets beaten and allows a big play except that Shanahan’s ego would rather lose a game than admit a mistake.

Fat Albert hasn’t shown he can play hard for more than a few plays in a row. He was standing around leaning on the OL instead of blowing up the 3rd stringers!
Albert has been in the league for nine years and he can’t beat the sh#t out of the 3rd team? Most of those guys were cut and heading back to minimum wage jobs.

Haynesworth expected to play, but probably won’t play very well.

You mean he’ll be playing even less than usual? He spends most of the game on the sideline sucking an oxygen tank as it is.

Who was dissing AH in public? Wud Shanny’s disciplined sub-coaches go around his back and diss a player in public? Not a chance. Either this is Shanny trying to get the public behind what looks like a purely ego play on his part, or Danny is angry at AH and is playing his “leaking game” again.

Mabye you should stick to MMA. If you couldnt tell the difference in him not even wanting to be playing in that game. You really think they have someone better than him on the roster?

    “I’ll pay him 21 mil but i won’t play him”…….that’ll teach him who’s boss!………Shanahan is a “twit”!
