A league source tells us that veteran running back Julius Jones will be staying in Seattle. Per the source, Jones was never actually cut.
Instead, he restructured his contract in order to avoid being released.
And so the Seahawks will continue with a depth chart that currently shows Jones as the starter, Justin Forsett as the second-stringer, and Leon Washington third.
As best we can tell, Jones was getting Kellen Clemens treatment, and Jones ultimately decided to take a reduced deal.
