Levi Brown goes from surprised to pissed

There was some speculation last week in Buffalo that the Bills could retain seventh-round pick Levi Brown as the team’s third quarterback over Brian Brohm.

Brohm made the team, and Brown surprisingly remains a free agent despite all the preseason playing time Buffalo invested in the rookie quarterback from Troy.

NEVER
woulda guessed id be in this position right now,” Brown wrote on Twitter. “Not even a practice
squad invite. i’ve now officially gone from surprised to pissed!”

Perhaps Brown will still get a call.  As of Monday morning, the Bills still had four spots open on their practice squad.  They signed wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt, fullback Rodney Ferguson, tackle Jason Watkins and running back Joique Bell to the squad Sunday.

Another athlete that feels entitled to a job as an NFL player. It does not take a rocket scientist to realize that if a player cannot make the Bills squad as a QB, he sucks. There is no reason to put him on the practice squad. I have not seen him play, but if the Bills cut him, and there is no money issue, he must be garbage and really has no room to complain.

  2. Levi,
    You aren’t Joe Montana…
Guys like you are a penny a dozen, until you prove different.
Your “pissed” comment shows your immaturity. They owe you nothing and I doubt they will want to invest anything more with that attitude of yours. If I were the Bills, I would say seeeeee-ya..

  3. Mr. Levi Brown: Are you trying to shoot yourself in the foot? Do you want a J-O-B in the N-F-L? With that attitude you are more likely to land on your A-S-S than the practice squad. Do you remember how you played the last preseason game in Detroit? You looked terrible. Your passes were extremely off, your throwing motion was Tebowish and your judgement was wack. And now you are pissed?

  4. And he’s bad, bad, Levi Brown
The baddest man in the whole damn town
    Badder than old Brian Brohm
    Meaner than a Chan Gailey

  5. Anger isn’t going to help him land a practice squad slot … which is really the best he could have hoped for. He really needs to find himself a QB coach and get to work instead of tweeting his frustration for the world to read.

  6. Dude has a strong arm, seems accurate, good mechanics and a 7th rounder.
The thing is Brohm has more upside at this point. I am surprised he did not make the PS…yet. With Trent in his last year of his contract, I wonder what the Bills plans are for QB after this year, cause Fitz IS NOT the answer.

  7. Levi just shot himself in the foot……he looked OK in the preseason and he would have been picked up by someone…..now, he looks like a spoiled child.
You shouldn’t write anything on the internet when you are upset. Anyone with a facebook account knows that.

  8. “Mad, Mad, Levi Brown, baddest quaterback in the whole damn town, Mader then old King Kong, Mader then a JunkYard Dog.”

  9. Dude, if you can’t beat out Brian Brohm, it’s over. I saw Brohm throw at a Green Bay Packers practice once. He throws like my Grandma. And my Grandma is dead!

I agree with the arm and his accuracy, but did you see how he played in the Lions preseason finale?
He was terrible! Looked completely flustered. Also with the way he is acting, I’d be surprised if he was put on the PS. As for Trent this is make it or break it. He will be resigned if he does well, otherwise we can expect to be taking a QB in the first round or pulling in a veteran that is ready to move on. Either way, Go Bills!!
