Levi Brown goes from surprised to pissed

There was some speculation last week in Buffalo that the Bills could retain seventh-round pick Levi Brown as the team’s third quarterback over Brian Brohm.

Brohm made the team, and Brown surprisingly remains a free agent despite all the preseason playing time Buffalo invested in the rookie quarterback from Troy.

“NEVER woulda guessed id be in this position right now,” Brown wrote on Twitter. “Not even a practice squad invite. i’ve now officially gone from surprised to pissed!”

Perhaps Brown will still get a call. As of Monday morning, the Bills still had four spots open on their practice squad. They signed wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt, fullback Rodney Ferguson, tackle Jason Watkins and running back Joique Bell to the squad Sunday.
