Concerns about Maurice Jones-Drew’s knee injury caused him to slip down a few fantasy draft boards this weekend, but it won’t keep him out of action any longer.
Tania Gagnuli of the Florida Times-Union reports that Jones-Drew returned to practice Monday as expected. MJD has a lateral meniscus injury, but it’s not believed to be serious. The Jaguars open with the Broncos, who have serious questions about their rush defense.
A decent schedule is one reason why we never moved Jones-Drew’s ranking out of the top three in the Rotoworld draft guide. Just make sure you get Rashad Jennings as insurance.
