Despite the reported use of an ambulance to take a Chiefs player from the practice field to a hospital during practice on Monday, we’ve learned that all members of the team currently are fine.
The identity of the player who was transported by ambulance has not been confirmed. A Monday night report from Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star hinted that linebacker Cameron Sheffield was the player who was in the ambulance.
Sheffield recently was hospitalized after suffering a neck injury that left him motionless during a preseason game. He was released from the hospital the next day.
Bottom line? If it was him, he’s fine. Whoever it was, he’s fine.
