Drew Brees plans to lead Superdome in chant

Last year, Saints quarterback Drew Brees got his teammates worked up on a weekly basis with a chant inspired by a visit to the Marines at Guantanamo Bay in Cuba.

This year, when the Saints host the Vikings on Thursday night, Brees plans to lead the entire Superdome in a pregame chant.

“We as a team wanted to find a way to kind of engage our fans prior to
the start of the game with some kind of interaction where we just get
the Dome excited, electric
,” Brees said Tuesday.

After the pregame coin toss, Brees will lead the crowd in the “Who Dat!” chant, which goes like this:  “Who Dat!  Who Dat!  Who Dat Say Dey Gonna Beat Dem Saints!”

The chant will be used to launch each home game.  Brees will lead it Thursday night, and an honorary captain will do the honors for each of the other seven home games.

“We’ve got the best fans in the world,” Brees said.  “We’ve got the loudest fans in the
world.  Let’s do something like this so that every opponent that comes in
our stadium knows what’s in store, and it just kind of sets the tone.”

It also sets the stage for a post-game chant from the visiting team and their fans of “We Dat!” at the end of any home game the Saints happen to lose.

Sounds like desperate measures to fill a certain void…..can’t wait to greg williams gets his turn to lead the ritual. Sounds like a high school homecoming tactic but not surprising.

I distinctly remember Flori-hole making fun of Brees in a post he made several years ago about this very subject. Back then, Flori-hole delighted in pointing out that Drew Brees was stoopid and ridiculous for trying to fire up his team on the sideline before the game in the same way that Ray Lewis did. What do you think about that now, Flori-hole? Are you going to own your stoopid comments from back then or will you ignore the whole thing – as you are obviously doing now. Loser.

You won a super bowl. you got Reggie bush, who got his heisman taken because he and his family are getto and tried to scam the NCAA and were caught by a slow brain drug dealer. Stay hot. This who dat get to crap has gone too far. Even the owner was trying to take the team out of state because he hated it there! This team is an absolute bust this year. Greg Williams acting tough and strutting around saying he’s gonna send every team a message LOL. we ran his ass out of town in kc because he sucks hog. I believe Mr. Brees is actually asking his fans “Who Dat?” with the question mark, instead of telling them sternly “Who Dat!” with the exclamation point. He may be confused and wants some form or affirmation from his guests, if I had to guess.
My understanding is “Who” is the “Question Word” and “Dat” is the Holy Trinity of words as it is the “Auxiliary Verb”, the “Subject” and the “Main Verb” all at the same time.
This triune word perplexes non-Cajun people but nearly all Cajuns, including Creoles (except of course for the Canadian Quebecois) agree that while “Dat” is one word, it still individually serves its own, unique purpose in the question’s structure. There is no doubt in my mind it is because of this explicitly that the word is made up of 3 letters as well.

  48. jgreen1570 says: Sep 7, 2010 11:21 PM

How clever, turning the chant around on them like that. If the Saints were 3rd graders, they would totally be concerned.
And seriously, I have never seen so many people lacking even the slightest concept of grammar and diction make fun of a silly chant. ONOZ, SKOL is not a word! Vikings fanz are stoopid too. And jets fans are always reminding themselves of how to spell their team name. And Bear down Chicago Bears makes no sense and has several run on sentences!
it’s almost like all cheers are a little silly….

This is the reason there is never any scientific research in Louisiana. Imagine the confusion when someone tells his wife about his new “deory”….
I remembered an old joke reading that. A man from New Orleans on vacation found himself reassuring another man that the city isn’t as dangerous as it’s made out to be. When asked what he did for a living down there, he responded “I’m the tail gunner on a Budweiser truck”….
Maybe they’re not uneducated, just drunk all the time….. either way, it’s a wonder they can find the stadium.

dude seriously, to all of you lame ass viking fans who can think of nothing better to say than to bring up some seriously old shit that happened 20 years ago try and be a little more creative.
I know that Minnesota is void of anything creative or inspiring and the women there have been mistaken for sasquatch a time or two which I’m sure is quite disappointing but there has to be some among you who have half a brain for some artistic thought, no?
    TO REVIEW:
-If all you can come up with are Katrina references, looting references, bag head references, “aints” references, swamp, crooked politicians, blah blah blah then it really is a sign of the times because you all have run out of ammo when it comes to actually attacking the team because they are THE DEFENDING SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONS, you have to sink low and start reaching like Chilly reaches around for Favre (per his highness’ request).
-I have hope that there are some men among you viking fans however who can see the reality that you do have a headcoach who has no respect in the locker room.
-That you have a qb who brought you the bitter taste of defeat when you were oh so close, then you so soon forget that QB did the same thing for years on your hated rival’s team.
-You forget that your runningback consistently coughs the ball up due to his infant sized hands.
-Oh and that redneck inbred that’s on the d-line got ZERO against Brees last year. He’s always a big talker until it comes time to perform then he hides in his turtle shell for fear of being exposed as the fraud that he is.
-Most importantly you forget these hard to swallow numbers:
    12 men in the huddle,
    5 turnovers,
6 words: WHY DO YOU EVEN PONDER PASSING?

The chant has a great deal of potential for backfiring. It will indeed fire up the other team.
That’s not really a good idea. I know in the old Boston Garden (and now Fleet Center) the Celtics and the Bruins would never display their championship banners hanging in the rafters during their OWN games, I believe for that reason. Instead they’d hang the other sports banners…again I think to avoid firing up the opposition.
Should be a great game, really looking forward to it. I think that if the Vikings don’t turn it over in this “re-match” they have a couple of solid advantages over the Saints (also a really good team) in run defense and running back.
If they score first and can keep grinding it out then the Vikings can win comfortably, say 31 to 17. If they fall behind not sure Favre can win a shootout without Rice.

I think Drew Brees has always been an excellent QB. Weather in San Diego or New Orleans he always puts in 100% But I think he has gone a little too far with this “who dat”. It may be “catchy” in Saints territory, but the rest of America thinks its ridiculus. As for Gregg Williams, he has done great for the first year or two when he gets a new team, but believe me he doesn’t have much up his sleeve. Good examples, Buffalo, Washington. I don’t like his tough guy act.

I am not going to quote everything you said but remember this. None of the Viking fans forget how they lost that game. Coughing up the ball. 12 men in the huddle and so forth.
Obviously it was a bitter loss. The problem is although the Viking fans have in fact faced reality and know the team didn’t win that game, Saint fans continue to bring it up and throw it in our faces. Did we do that to you when we beat you in the playoffs (twice)? I didn’t think so. Why? Because the Aints have historically been the worst franchise in the NFL and no one really cared. Now they have a superbowl and the fans think they can talk a bunch of trash and ridicule the rest of the NFL.
As a Viking fan the loss obviously hurt. However, I was able to live with knowing something great just happened for the city of NO and for a classy guy like Drew Brees. Now, the banwaggon fans of the Aints come out and act as though they are the class of the NFL and want to rub salt in the wounds. All I can say is remember where you came from. At least the Vikings are competitive just about every year. Can you say that for the Saints? No. Saints can however say they have a superbowl which is about the ONLY item of substance you have over the Vikings.
The Saints won. Congrats! I WAS happy for the city and Drew Brees. Now because of most of their so-called fans I will truly enjoy WHEN your team and their “greatest fans in the world” go back to being the walking mat of the NFL.

However, to say you are the best and most exciting team in the league is pretty much laughable. Maybe one of the worst franchises ever to play in the NFL that happened to win a superbowl.
Just remember this. Teams such as NO remind me of Tampa Bay. A crappy franchise for most of their existance that get good for a couple of years, win a superbowl then fall back to being the piece of crap franchise they always have been. They talked about the history in last years Hard Knocks: Training Camp with The Cincinnati Bengals. Sing “When the Saints Go Marching In” and create your own football twist or anything else that’s your own, but stealing someone else’ s chant is pathetic.

Really, when you’re talking about a “who dey” or “who dat” where do you think that originated? Ohio?? Or New Orleans?? What sounds more realistic to you?
“Who dat” dates back to 1800s vaudeville and early jazz, and was used by Louisiana high school football teams in the 70s. It wasn’t adopted by the Saints fans until around 1983, but I promise you they did not get it from the freaking Bengals.

  112. saintswhodi says: Sep 8, 2010 11:32 AM

As far as it being a knock-off of Who Dey, that’s false. The chant came from minstrel shows as far back as the 19th century and was adopted by a local high school team, St. Augustine, whose fans used to chant Who Dat at their games well before the Bengals even heard of it. Saints fans took it from that team, being in the same city, and adopted it for the Saints. Shortly thereafter Who Dey entered the world. Hard Knocks FOR the Cincinnati Bengals is not the place to get the true story. The Bengals didn’t even start their chant until the 80s. Who Dat was already popular in New Orleans by then.

Third, your team has been accused of pumping fake noise into the stadium by more than one team. NEVER WOULD THAT NEED TO OCCUR IN NEW ORLEANS
Fourth, New Orleans is the third smallest market in the NFL, has one Fortune 500 company (compared to 20 for Minneapolis) and still sells out games.
Just yesterday, on this site, it was reported that Minnesota hasn’t yet sold out every game for the season. We have sold out every game and have a waiting list of over 50,000 for season tickets all while wage earner income is 32% less than in Minneapolis.

    =========
Bandwagoners might be the reason the ticket waiting list has swelled to 60,000 people, but bandwagoners are not the reason the season tickets sold out.
This will be the fifth season in a row that season tickets are sold out, but that trend started before we got Drew Brees or Reggie Bush in 2006. People bought the tickets not because we had started winning (the first sell-out came after a 2005 record of 3-13) but because people were faced with the reality that we could lose the team, so they stepped up to make sure we kept them. Like someone else said, we don’t have huge companies here that will buy out tickets to make a game sell out. Fans had to step up and they did so to keep the team here, not because they were bandwagoners.
At worst, New Orleans took the Saints for granted prior to the hurricane and assumed they would always be here. When that was threatened, the city and fans made sure they would keep them.

Penalties that should have been called but weren’t in 2009:
    Vikings = 0
    Saints = 20
BTW, I really don’t believe that but my point in posting is the fact you are going by blind statistics that don’t necessarily tell the entire story.
    1) Penalties can be called that shouldn’t have been.
    2) Penalties were not called that should have been.
There are always variables to statistics so to take something as black and white to try and prove a point does not necessarily do so.

Vikes fans are just pissed they couldn’t come close to making Drew break a sweat while Favre was getting clobbered. Dirty Vikes = 12 roughing the passer penalties. Too bad when Jared Allen wasn’t racking up 7 sacks against a depleted Green Bay O-line he couldn’t find the time to so much as stip up a strong draft near Drew Brees when it actually mattered.

BTW, I really don’t believe that but my point in posting is the fact you are going by blind statistics that don’t necessarily tell the entire story.
    ======
Stats don’t tell the whole story and I don’t really care who had more than who; the point was that the Vikings obviously really did at least have *some* late or illegal hits last year to be penalized that many times.
That is my only point – for people like Tice who act like the Saints are these horrible cheaters when their own team has obviously done that which the Saints are accused of doing in the past – “playing outside of the rules” as Brad Childress put it. Every team goes after the QB, every team has some late hits happen — some more than others. I am sick of hearing how dirty the Saints as if the Vikings are perfect.
No one complained about the Saints being dirty until we played the Vikings.

Take heed to your own suggestion. I guess you probably wouldn’t know how to handle pride since you are not used to winning. That’s what it must be. Now that your team actually won something you just don’t know how to handle it. I get it now.
Did you ever stop to think that maybe, just maybe the Saints didn’t go after any other QB like they went after Favre? Ya think?
I don’t personally think the Saints are dirty players. They did what they had to do to win. I don’t blame them for that. In fact, I would have kept doing it too if the refs would have kept letting me get away with it. Why not?
The Vikings lost the game because of bone headed fumbles and INTs. Yet, there is no doubt the Saints benefited from some calls and non-calls that came during critical plays of the game. It’s not the worst thing in the world. It is what it is. The sad thing about it is the Saint fans just can’t admit it. They would rather call the Viking fans a bunch of cry babies for responding to the BS the Saint fans throw at them.
Funny part is Saint fans bring it up in every article and thread in PFT. Yet because Viking fans call them out and talk facts they have no other response but to call them cry babies.
You may call it crying but most people other than Saint fans and maybe some Packer fans watched the same game I did. Not counting any media that try to say the “right thing” pretty much everyone will tell you the Vikings were screwed. Yes, even some level headed Saint fans that I know have admitted it.
In my opinion, the Vikings lost the game for a lot of reasons. Mainly for losing the football as much as they did. But any of you that think calls or non-calls were a non factor of the outcome of the game are in heavy denial. Like I stated before it’s all a part of football. It is what it is. I just find it funny how people in denial of FACTS call others names and cry babies just because they state FACTS. Pretty ironic isn’t it?

Vikings fans have to be the most bitter, jealous, sad sack of losers in the NFL. They still can’t get over the fact they choked away yet another opportunity to get to the big game. They make comments about illiteracy, but WTF is SKOL? It’s not even English. You hate your state so much you take up chants in a foreign language. I understand the impact of your team moving to Los Angeles as soon as the new stadium is up out there has you guys on edge, but seriously, grow up. The Katrina comments show what lowlifes you are and the baghead comments show how little you mental midgets know about the NFL outside of the purple penis beaters. The Saints fans viewed you as a footnote on our way to the promised land but your incessant whining makes us sympathize with Packers fans who have had to listen to this bed wetting forever. Get a life. What a bunch of sissies.
    ————————————————
don’t lump all of us into the same group and judge a fanbase by its worst specimens. that would be ignorant…and you’re not ignorant are you?
your team has its share of idiots too, just as any other team in the league does. go to an article on the jets and you’ll read the same stuff back and forth between fans of them and the pats and giants. read one about the steelers and you’ll read similar stuff from ravens and bengals fans. this isn’t really a unique situation.
what do you expect out of a football message board in which the posters are basically anonymous? internet anonymity makes people bold and they “say” stupid classless things.
not sure if you’ve ever been on the internet before but this is kinda how it is on comment pages like this. it’s even worse on sites that don’t require approval before comments get posted.
bunch of angry little children posting in this topic, not just talking about a specific team’s fans.
oh everyone can stop saying “we” when referring to your favorite team. there is no “we”. you are not part of the team nor part of the organization. stop living vicariously through your team. it’s probably why some of you seem so damn angry.

  143. saintswhodi says: Sep 9, 2010 10:12 AM

I’m lumping all of the Vikings fans on this site into that group. If they are the worst you guys have to offer, so be it. But the incessant crying is tiresome.
Also, you referenced smack talk among rivals. RIVALS. That is part of the game. We’re not even in the Vikings’ division, don’t play them that often, yet since Hartley’s FG was called good it’s been cry, cry, cry, and Katrina comments and 80s baghead references. I mean, how can you cry over something that happened half a year ago still? If this is what you have representing the Vikes’ fanbase, the sampling leaves a whole lot to be desired. And since none of the Vikings fans on here seem to be rational, or able to use the left side of their brain, I feel pretty safe extrapolating my impression to a greater number. ANY article about the Saints gets bombarded with Vikings’ fans self hate.
So yeah, i’m with you on rivals smack talking. But the reasons for the incessant whining from the Vikes’ fans here isn’t based in any logic I can see. They lost, move on. It’s a new year. Last year is in the books. I still feel for Packers’ fans.

Actually, ejmat, do you think Saints fans would be bringing it up if it wasn’t in response to the precedent set by Vikings fans? We’re not talking to ourselves here. Do you see us on here calling out Colts fans?? If a Saints fan brings it up first, it is a pre-emptive strike against what they *know* is already coming. Time and time again, every thread, there is whining. Yes, it is whining, yes, it is being a “crybaby.” It’s just football, yet I have never seen such venom and hatred and anger directed at a football team and by extension a city, than I’ve seen from Vikings fans on this site in the past 7 months. Get over it!!
    ==================
“Not counting any media that try to say the “right thing” pretty much everyone will tell you the Vikings were screwed.”
This is what I am talking about. Over and over again we hear this. What does it accomplish to say this over and over? It doesn’t change the game. It doesn’t put an asterick next to the Saints’ Superbowl victory. You may truly believe this, but it doesn’t change ANYTHING. And you’re certainly not going to change the minds of Saints fans and ruin their enjoyment of the title. So what is the point?
If you guys want to stew in your own misery and cry about the refs, so be it, but I just wish you’d keep it to your Vikings boards instead of spreading it all over the Internet.
    ========================
“In my opinion, the Vikings lost the game for a lot of reasons. Mainly for losing the football as much as they did. But any of you that think calls or non-calls were a non factor of the outcome of the game are in heavy denial.”
All I have heard from Vikings fans is how dominant they were over the Saints —– if they were really dominant, they would have overcome any “bad” calls. Bad calls went both ways – for example, the ‘piledrive’ tackle by Anthony Hargrove that was called on Favre for 15 yards was the same exact tackle put on Brees in OT and it wasn’t called. The game was really close, three calls in OT were reviewed, and they were all UPHELD.
Unless you believe the refs in the booth who watched the replays purposely ignored the truth of what happened and called it in favor of the Saints anyway, those calls were too close to overturn.
I don’t know what else to tell you.

    Dear saintswhodi,
Please do me a huge favor and research the word “skol” in relation to Scandanavian and VIKING culture.
That should answer some questions for you.
Secondly, since the few thousand football fans on this message board represent the millions of fans rooting for their respective teams; please pass a message on to your Who Dat buddies.
Take a look at each of our respective team’s histories. The Vikings are widely regarded as one of the most successful franchises in the NFL, based on SB appearences, conference championships, division championships, playoff appearences, etc., etc., etc…..
The Saints, on the other hand, have been the model of ineptatude for the first 40 years of their existence, before finally putting it all together and winning the big one.
To be surprised by the comments of random, classless Viking’s fans after about 10,000 comments by the Who Dat nation about us supporting the “biggest loser franchise in the NFL?”
    …completely naive isn’t a strong enough phrase
And the ass kicking you handed us in the NFCCG? More like a 3 point squeaker in OT.
As for the Katrina comments, no excuse. I don’t speak for the rest of the Viking rubes on PFT, but don’t lump all of us in the same bunch.
Feel free to go back over the comment history for the last two years. If you can find me anywhere spouting off a comment about hurricanes or the like, well…blame the booze, or the schools.
Congrats on the SB championship and good luck to your team in tonight’s opener.
P.S. Please for the love of everything good and right in this big, mixed up world, drop the “Who Dat” crap. Every single man, woman, and child outside of the greater New Orleans area is completely sick of it.

And in other breaking news you still fabricate and twist real truth. As I pointed out earlier that is unsubstantiated. Maybe when you find something true you can post better.

  152. saintswhodi says: Sep 9, 2010 6:28 PM

    Dearest moezilla,
I’ve researched the word SKOL, that’s how I know it’s not native to Minnesota. Thanks for agreeing?
As far as saying anything about an ass kicking in the NFCCG, you got the wrong guy.
As far as team histories, right this second you’d trade your team’s entire history for this Superbowl win we just got. But your statement is also incorrect. You may not know a lot about football outside of Minnesota, sadly, but the Saints once had the top rated LB crew in NFL history, voted on by NFL films, and gave the dynasty 49ers all they could handle, even taking the division title from them once. Saints also won a division title against the greatest show on turf Rams coming off their Superbowl win. We also visited the NFCCG just 4 years ago. Minnesota? You were fighting off the likes of Green Bay, who weren’t relevant again til Favre, and Tampa Bay. Tough job.
As far as comments by Saints fans, well, you get kicked enough times, eventually you get kicked back. EVERY piece of positive news posted here about the Saints has been riddled with classless comments from Vikings fans. After talk about how the Colts were gonna destroy us, and being proved wrong on that, then on to Katrina comments and such, Saints fans fought back. Good for them. There’s only so much whining, low-class comments, and general bitchassedness you can take.
So if you saw 10,000 comments by Saints fans, you must have glossed over the 50,000 comments by Vikes fans. And who’s naive?
P.S. I can speak for any and every Saints fan any and everywhere that we could give a flying flip what you or anyone else thinks about Who Dat. It’s ours, it’s home grown, and until you can say We Dat, deal with it. SKOL.

    Dear saintswhodi,
Noticed how I mentioned VIKINGS, look for the capital letters, and how it relates to the word skol?
    The teams mascot?
Take a deep breath and try to concentrate.
I too would trade away everything my team has accomplished for a SB win, however, I would not act and speak as if I rooted for one of the most storied franchises in the league after just one SB win.
I also would also not try to compare my teams worthiness by mentioning a good linebacking corp and a win against the PREVIOUS year’s SB champs.
I also mentioned that I did not agree with other Viking rubes commenting on Katrina or other New Orleans troubles, oil spills included.
Once again, congrats on your FIRST SB WIN, and the 1st qtr TD and defensive stop.
P.S. Who Dat is still annoying as hell. I’m just saying.

  154. saintswhodi says: Sep 10, 2010 8:52 AM

    Dear moezilla,
So you STILL agree SKOL is not native to Minnesota, which is what I said? Thanks for confirming it again, but can we file it in the department of redundancy department now?
Also, who is acting and speaking as if they rooted for one of the most storied franchises? Saints fans KNOW their history, that’s why the Superbowl win was so special to us. We never thought we’d see one. I think you’re confusing us for your fans.
As far as the comparisons I provided, that was given you facts on our team, since you seemed to be lacking them. We haven’t ALWAYS been losers, although the majority of the time we have. We own that. But now we aren’t any more. And won’t be for a while. And now we own that too.
Anyway, we win again, game not as close as it looked(2 missed FGs and a dropped TD pass kept it close). Good luck to your team but I fear y’all are in for a long year.

I REALLY want to be done with the whole team mascot, whose team chant is more annoying, Who Dat gets my vote, Katrina, I35 bridge collapse, blah, blah, blah….
After finally running across someone to engage with who isn’t dropping random homophobic slurs or f-bombs, I was wondering if we could discuss some FOOTBALL?
For instance, your defense barely containing AP for a half before #4 tried to flip the script and bring back last years pass happy offense.
Or how, with a depleted secondary, my defense was still able to hold the league’s highest scoring offense to there lowest point total ever, albeit in a victory?
I may be deficient in every team’s history besides my own, but, I would like to think I can do a little back and forth on a game that occured only last night.

No problems talking football. Like how about Jared Allen? Invisible again against the Saints. Or Kevin Williams. Or Ray Edwards. Our O-line clearly seems to be superior to your D-line. Even when you guys knew we were gonna run, we lined up and gashed them for first down after first down and ran the game out.
After the first drive, I thought we were gonna put up 40. But the strategy of all pass seemed to work against us more than for us in the first half. Receivers dropped balls. Kicker misses FGs. Some of the credit goes to your D, but with hardly any pressure at all on Drew, some goes to us for hurting ourselves too.
Peterson was a beast, he always is. Always. I had no doubts he would exploit us. But early on, our defense was in a 3-4 and playing coverage, which allowed him some runs. Once we started getting to him sooner, you guys abandoned the run, either Chilly or Favre. Dumb decision. Even if you stop Peterson on 6 straight runs, that 7th can go 80 yards. Big mistake not stiking with him.
The final score isn’t indicative of how close the game actually was due to the missed opportunities, but it was a lot closer than I would have wanted it to ne. SKOOL.

  158. saintswhodi says: Sep 10, 2010 2:40 PM

    First off, WHO DDAT!!!
Now, let’s talk football. Let me ask you something? Did your D-line get off the bus? No pressure from the pash rush, just rolled over and died when we forced the run on them, even when they knew we were gonna run and needed to get the ball back. What a mauling. Better wake them boys up. Especially that Jared Allen. But he’ll get 8 sacks against the Packers and be called the greatest again, never mind he’s been shut down twice against the Saints by a late round pick from Towson State.
I give some credit to that depleted secondary, some, but a lot of miscues occured on the Saints part too. Dropped passes especially. Meachem dropped a TD, Colston dropped a bomb, although it was coupled with a good play by the defender. If he catches it flush though, it’s a completion. And going one dimensional is never a good startegy. I think it played into your hands. Allowed you guys to play coverage with your LBs and close off the throwing lanes.
As far as AD or AP or whatever he’s called, dude is a beast. But he got a lot of his early yards against our 3-4. When we settled into our base defense, Sed Ellis started owning your center just enough to bottle him up, then either Chilly or Favre abandoned the run. Dumb decision. Everyone knows you may bottle Peterson for 6 plays, but that 7th may go for 80 yards. You just gotta stick with him, and they didn’t.
All in all though, it’s good to type with a Vikes fan who is not filled with excuses, irrational hate, and vitriol, even though you guys can’t beat us. SKOOL.

    Saintswhodi,
Ahhh…there we go, refreshing isn’t it?
We had a big T-storm roll through last night, so I missed three substantial chunks of the second half. I got most of my second half info from NFL play by play and an interview with PA, Vikings radio voice.
We only had the ball 9 minutes in the second half?!? Good lord! I know an excuse when I see one, but I’m surprised they didn’t have to jump start Fat Pat with the paddles mid-fourth. Our front four must have been gassed.
On the other hand, being out there that long and only giving up a TD, missed FG’s aside, is a positive for me. Getting Cook and Griffen back should slow you guy’s down even more come Janruary, NFCCG in the METROdome.
Just as soon as Chilly answers my e-mails and puts Camarillo @ the #2 WR spot and slides Percy back inside to the slot position…
    That’s what she said.
