Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew returned to practice this week and isn’t listed on the team’s Week One injury report, but he’s still facing questions about whether his knee will slow him down this year.
And he’s still insisting that his knee is fine.
“There is no injury,” Jones-Drew said on a conference call with Denver reporters.
Jones-Drew also strongly denied a report that he had knee surgery.
“I don’t even know where that report came from, to tell you the truth. It came from out of nowhere, I guess some guy wanted to get his newspaper built up. I don’t know how that happened,” Jones-Drew said. “It’s a non-issue. It’s a rest issue. We’ve been working hard since April, and coaches and I decided it was better to rest.”
Jones-Drew’s fantasy owners won’t rest easy until they see him go on Sunday.

He better be hurt b/c i passed on that little fart in my draft
Everbody is resting easy dude. This is a non-story. He isn’t hurt, period. lol he tells you here himself. Why continue to try to make a story out of nothing?
The Broncos will find out Sunday that he isn’t hurt.
Ideally after every TD he scores Sunday he goes to the Denver sideline and trucks Teblow the punk.
Mystery of the MoJo Whereabouts.
I guess the fact that he’s not even listed on the injury report kind of backs up the story too.
A few weeks back, MJD tweeted a picture of himself getting acupuncture on his leg around the knee area, so there’s definitely something going on.
