I think it's safe to say that the Saints run last year was magical...but also lucky. Eventually the law of averages always wins out. As the 2010/2011 season kicks off tonight, I would encourage Saints fans to enjoy their Superbowl Championship from last year - however ill-gotten it may have been. I would also suggest that they demand more class from their organization, most importantly the coaching staff. There's a reason why EVERYBODY loves the Vikings. They are a class organization from top to bottom. Saints fans, you deserve better.

"It was fumbles and officiating by far more than anything else. Doubled them up in yards and over that in first downs. Not one sack. Yeah...nice try guys.
The hits to the ankles, knees, and head are what the Vikes don't like. We don't mind opponents taking a strategy that results in them being dominated. We just take offense to them trying to cause injury with illegal hits."

You don't even live in Minnesota. You must have decided at a young age that you were a little bitch and couldn't hack being a championship caliber guy. Hence, the world's only out-of-state Viking fan.

Once again, the frigging Saints won fair and square, and this Viking fan was glad they won the SB if my team couldn't. However, all the praise heaped upon Payton and Williams is overblown to the point of ridiculousness. The Viking defense held the offensive genious to 250 yards -- a full 225 yards less than the Vikings offense gained and 100 yards less than their season average. The Viking game plans on both sides of the ball were superior, as clearly shown by the statistics. The Saints won because their players caused turnovers and didn't make mistakes (while the Vikings did the opposite) -- not because some stupid ass hit Favre alot because he's old speech and strategy
------------------------------
Dead wrong. There are three kinds of lies; lies, damn lies, and statistics.
The Vikings outgained the Saints true, but the yard they didn't gain, the one that's just before the goal line is the only one that matters.
The only defense that matters is scoring defense. A team that runs all over between the 20's and fails to score the most points is the inferior team.
The average turnover is worth at least the yardage of the average punt.
The stats from the NFCC were anomalous, the Saints dominated the actual football game. The Vikings did not give up the game, the Saints took it. And kicked Favre's ass to boot.

Every time I think that most Viking fans aren't pussys all I have to do is come to this site and read their posts. Like the words of grade schoolers, " they cheated, the refs were paid, they took cheap shots, they hit Favre late, etc." and the pissing and moaning goes on and on and on.....
Many of you have said that we, New Orleanians, need to move on from Katrina, the largest disaster in the history of the U.S., and yet you can't move on from a football game. You have more excuses than any fan base in history. Your motto should be "The Minnesota Vikings- 50 Years of Never Winning the Big One and finding a way to blame everybody else"

I'm gonna be looking for you viqueen goons come tomorrow morning...my guess is that either you'll all be gone or that you'll still be spewing the persistent allegations and excuses...
------------------------------------------------------
So what's the over and under?
If I'd have to wager I'd say they're gonna whine about injuries to players.
The way I see it, vike fans are too stupid and have so little pride (come on their saying is "purple pride" is their a wussier color?) to shut up.
The game wont be close enough to claim ref conspiracy stuff.
Their line is so porous that the hits will be sacks.
Sure their coach is an idiot, but when they're dominated what can you say about coaches?
I know this, vike fans will have excuses we will have seen before because they just aren't bright enough to come up with new ones and they have such a rich history of loser football to cull excuses from.

Our Savior, which art in Minnesota, Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy gameday come. Thy will be done on Thursday, as it is in the offseason.

And lead us not into despair, but deliver us from losing:
For thine is the season, and the power, and the credit, for ever.

Also, Favre told Payton to "go hug Chilly and give it (the flu) to him" prior to the NFC Championship game. It's clear that Favre doesn't respect the guy.
And...how come you're not reporting that Adrian Peterson GUARANTEED a win tonight?
----------------------------------------------------
Yeah, and to boot he also claimed he was gonna have a 2500 yd season, and win a few Super Bowls, and be the best football player ever...
I remember liking AP when he shut his mouth and led by example. This new AP is the biggest douche ever and so over hyped.
Best player ever? He's not even the best player on his own team.
2500 yd season? Ha ha ha! Obviously this guy isn't too bright, but he's talking out of his butt. Dude, Ahman Green's had a better season than you! Your average has plummeted since being a rookie. How's about you have a 1800 yard season before you go on with the foolishness.
Multiple Super Bowls? Dude, the window for the team doing that ended last year and you guys weren't that good. Unless you leave vikeland, one Super Bowl ain't gonna happen, much less multiple ones.
Oh, and his favorite all time player? Deon Sanders! Ha ha ha! What a model! And Mr Fumbles wants to be a gunner!
The more Mr. Fumbles talks, the dumber he gets. Someone needs to tell him to STFU!
