@BrownsDawg32: It was the AAFC (All American Football Conference) that merged with the NFL in 1950. The only three teams to move from the AAFC to the NFL were the Browns, Colts and 49ers.
The NFL and AFL merged in 1970. The Browns, Steelers and Colts moved from what became the NFC to the AFC to balance things out.
I agree with you though, Bungles fans have no room to talk. Just because they won the division last year, how many titles do they have? I think zero is the number I’m looking at.

It is stories like this that keep me from wishing I had renewed my season tix this year. I had been feeling kind of depressed that I would not get to go to Orchard Park and freeze while attempting to become intoxicated enough to enjoy the product on the field. Oh well I can drink and cook brats at home and still watch them lose (usually with my wife in the background saying “weren’t they just ahead?”).

@Ocho………like you Bungles fans have anything to talk about. Your team for years has been the NFL thug capitol of football. You went 12 years without a winning record, during that time you had a very nice record of 55-136 good for a 28.8 win percentage. Since the AFC merged with the NFL for the 1950 season, only eight franchises have gone 10 years or more with out a winning record, and that would include your team 1991 to 2002. I do believe you would be better off and keep your piehole shut.

Holy Crap Gregg. You just said it! ‘to keep the Bills respectable’. I think is the first time this site has admitted they are respectable.
They are a proud organization with shallow pockets , due to their location; yet continue every year with a strong fan base, a loyal but small corporate base, and put a ‘middle of the pack’ product on the field, despite financial hardships.
That’s why I am proud fan!
