Mc Daniels is falling into the trap of over-paying for an aging star. If he moves to S pay him as such, not as a CB.

Yes. He is. If he was on any other team, he’d immediately be their best defensive player and best locker room dude.
If they can move him to safety the last two years of that contract then it’ll be a great deal for both sides.
He’s a tough cover and a fantastic tackler. His run support for a CB is out of this world.

4 years from now Champ won’t be a top tier corner in the nfl. He will be a top tier safety. Pay the man.

The answer is YES, Champ Bailey is still a top-tier CB. Whoever he covers rarely gets the ball thrown their way and that says something. Bailey has 3-4 good years in him. People see his age and assume he has fallen off, but his numbers last year prove otherwise. Worthwhile investment for the Broncs.

Is Champ Bailey still considered a top-tier cornerback? Good? Sure. Still great (or more accurately, still great in 4 years)? I don’t know about that. Don’t watch enough Broncos games to form an opinion, but you’ve got to figure his skills are slipping a little.
