Asinine is something you are certainly familiar with, that is obvious in your responses.
Your feeling that women shouldn’t be there doesn’t make the harassment proper. They ARE allowed there, that you think they shouldn’t certainly isn’t fact, it’s an opinion. Not only does everyone have them & they all stink.
The FACT remains, she was doing her JOB & no one deserves to be abused or harassed for doing their JOB. That fact is indisputable, no matter what archaic spin you want to use. No woman deserves to be abused, verbally, physically or sexually. When that fact is stated, you want to hide behind what you call PC thinking. Sorry man, just because she was there, she didn’t ask for the abuse.
Your views of where women should be are very 40 years ago, that’s not being an actual thinker, it’s just old & antiquated. But hey, believe what you need to justify your 1960′s views on women.
As for baiting you, don’t flatter yourself. It’s funnier to listen to your chauvinistic babble.

This is a ridiculous story and I cannot believe it’s news. This type of story only sets women back further. If you’re a good looking woman AND you cover men’s sports – expect the catcalls, the whistles, etc.. As long as it doesn’t get verbally abusive or nasty, who the heck cares???
I was in the military for 6 years and worked alongside mean and earned their respect by pulling my own weight. There were catcalls and whistles (and I was nowhere near as pretty as the reporter in question!) and I appreciated it! Big deal about nothing!

So how many FEMALE locker rooms are male reporters even allowed in around the entire world. This is stupid. If a female goes into a mens locker room where the players are taking showers and changing their clothes she should expect to get some crude words dirrected at her. What do you think would be said if a man walked into a womens locker room. The ladies would become furious and sue the company that allowed this. You can’t win. Hey girls, you burned your bra in the 1960s. If you don’t want to see naked men, stay out of their dressing room. This whole thing is stupid.

I received a call from Mr. Jhonson himself to apologize and then I even had a meeting with NFL people in charge of international security, I explained to them exactly what happened, we even let them have the footage, and I want to insist, that I never felt uncomfortable or harassed, or that something inappropriate was going on on me.”

Apparently just being present in the same room with some people means rules of civility are suspended, and women are automatically presumed to be “asking for it” and “bringing it on themselves.” For heaven’s sakes, it wasn’t a strip club or a bachelor party. The players’ behavior reflects badly on the team’s reputation, regardless of who their head coach is.

@BlackMagic suspensions? cmon dude. From all accounts I’ve read there were comments and cat calls, all of which should not be tolerated, but to suspend a player for that would be way too strong of a punishment.
A hefty fine and being forced to attend some training, etc. all sounds reasonable to me.
BTW, I think if it was a dude wearing super tight jeans like that, players would react (in a different way, of course..) and make comments too. I think players ultimately bear the responsibility for their actions/words, and should be punished, but reporters should be dressed a little more professionally than the jeans she was wearing.
And I’m not trying to defend the players at all, they should be punished.

It is no secret that many of the people that post here write what they do for reaction from others or laughs but there is no excuse for this. This girl was there doing her JOB. Whether we agree she should or shouldn’t be in an NFL locker room, the league says all reporters should get fair access & be treated fairly.
The Jets acted like fools here & that management didn’t step in & stop this is deplorable. Johnson should be ashamed for his franchise, but is this really surprising given the horrible manner in which his daughter died?
Suspensions should be coming, that is the only way to stop this idiotic behavior. Anyone that thinks this is OK should see their daughter treated in the same manner, then comment how SHE deserved it.
