We invade the Notre Dame halftime show once again

Our friends at NBC have an NFL-heavy halftime on tap for halftime of the Michigan-Notre Dame game, which kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET.  (Tom Hammond and Mike Mayock will call the game, with Alex Flanagan working the sidelines.  I had to include that or they wouldn’t put more cookies in the green room.)

During intermission, Dan Patrick, Tony Dungy, and Rodney Harrison of Football Night in America will break down the Wolverines-Irish contest, and they’ll also set the table for Sunday night’s Cowboys-Redskins game.

Then, Peter King, Jimmy Roberts, and yours truly will review some of the currently hot topics in the league.  For any of you who are on the fence about whether to watch, be advised that we won’t be mentioning Albert Haynesworth.  Or Pat White.

I tune in just to listen to Tony Dungy.
Hoping he explains the NBC – Notre Dame link to me since I am too lazy to Google it.

Florio, just don’t embarrass the state of West Virginia… oh wait, too late.
    At least don’t kiss Peter King’s lard-ass.

With CornFlorio on the show, there is no reason to watch. Why watch a portion of a halftime show with that nitwit!

Man, the last time Notre Dame was relevant was 1990. Rocket Ishmail, months away from the Persian Gulf War, George Bush Sr. was in office, I was in prison….ah,memories.

I sure don’t miss Notre Dame, nor Big Ten Football announcements every five minutes on the televison…
And I sure don’t miss biased media types falling over themselves extolling those overrated, blowhart programs…
