Matt Moore heads home after concussion

After a dream run as the Panthers’ starting quarterback last year, Matt Moore got a nasty dose of reality against the Giants on Sunday.

Moore threw three interceptions and suffered a concussion on his final play. He was briefly hospitalized in New York following the injury, although Darin Gantt of the Charlotte Observer reports that Moore was able to fly home with his teammates.

Still, Moore’s status for next week looks questionable at best.  Just like Kevin Kolb’s status for the Eagles.

If Moore is out next week, Jimmy Clausen will get the first start of his NFL career against Tampa Bay.

I can only blame the city of Green Bay for this. They are all classless fat ass boy lovers, clearly the cause of this injury

Is it necessary for Panther QB’s to throw multiple INT’s in a game?

That’s a nice, cushy, first game for Clausen against Tampon Bay.

Clausen is he related to the pickle company because I thought I heard a crunch when Tuck planted him yesterday afternoon
He got a good old fashion welcome to the NFL from the Giants D

How many times were the Panthers in the Redzone and instead of working off the strength of their team (RB), they instead put the game in the hands of their untested, highly suspect QB each and every time?
The Panthers OC should have been fired about an hour after the game. Pathetic.
This was a winnable game for Carolina until they tried to make a point that Matt Moore is a legit NFL QB. He isn’t and they lost miserably trying to prove otherwise…

Big Blue – I saw Tuck MISS Clausen in the endzone. I didn’t see any crunch. Had his hands on him, and Clausen slipped away to finish the pass. (Granted it was incomplete.)
Buc Fan South Tampa – You’re an idiot. Anybody can say “we’re in first” in week 1. If that’s the case. The Panthers have the second best record in the NFL.
