Redskins trying to hold on against Dallas

Sunday night’s Cowboys-Redskins game hasn’t always been artful, but it’s shaping up to have a compelling ending.

The Redskins lead 10-7 with 13 minutes left in the game. Both offenses have struggled, but Washington’s attack has really been stifled in the second half. Washington’s only score came on a DeAngelo Hall fumble return on the final play of the first half. (Quite possibly, the dumbest play you’ll see by any team all season.)

The Cowboys have consistently moved the ball better than Washington and have dominated time of possession. We’ll see if the Redskins new 3-4 defense has enough left to hold on for a win in Mike Shanahan’s first game.
