Fox: Moore is feeling "a lot better"

One day after suffering a concussion, Panthers quarterback Matt Moore was “feeling much better” on Monday, according to coach John Fox.

Fox wouldn’t rule Moore out of this week’s game against the Bucs and made it clear Moore would be the starter if he’s healthy.

Whether Moore plays or not, the Panthers have to find some answers in their passing game.  They had a disastrous preseason, and Moore was worse in the season opener with four turnovers before his injury.

The Panthers had a 0-3 start to last season and never truly recovered.  They badly could use a win against the Bucs before heading to New Orleans in Week Three.

  1. Did the schedule change? Panthers play Bengals at home week 3, Saints week 4 accorging to what the NFL says.

  2. put in Clausen now…Moore sucks, then he goes and pouts at his receivers like they did something wrong, he panics under pressure and he has a Chad Pennington arm
F him and go with Clausen

  3. It doesn’t matter what they do, they’re going to start 0-2, possibly 0-4 like I predicted a long time ago. The lame duck Panthers are going to be among the worst teams in the NFL this season. They are this season’s Buccaneers… a young once proud franchise that hits rock bottom while the Bucs are going to turn their fortunes around. Beating the Panthers in Carolina will further prove my point.

  4. Carolina is screwed here. Play Moore and face the wrath of the national concussion awareness czars. Sit him and they all but concede the game to the team Florio insists only has 5 more wins to enjoy in the next years.
