Detroit, don’t get too excited about some form of poetic justice in December (e.g. ex Bear gets vengance for city, team and self)
There’s a reason he was cut by Chicago in the off season and didn’t catch on with his old defensive coordinator in San Diego this season.

I think the rule for signing vested veterans should be changed so that teams cannot sign any until after the last game has been played for the first week of the season by every team. Suppose a team playing on Monday night wanted one of those players and they were gone?
A rule should be instituted that roster additions of otherwise vested veterans cannot start until 10AM Eastern time the day after the last game of week one.
