Portis has just enough brain cells to almost form words. Not one extra.
His interviews are always priceless.
I’m not just saying this to be mean, but how can someone be that stupid?
He really seems to like thinking about all of the packages, and how they are a turn-on. I think another adjective has just been added to his file besides, “brain-dead.”
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

People never cease to amaze with their levels of stupidity. Newsflash for those of you too stupid to do just the teeniest bit of research: men ARE allowed into female locker rooms. The WNBA does this just fine, by allowing reporters in for 20 minutes or so after a game, where they can ask all sorts of banal questions of the (fully clothed) players, then everyone is taken out so the players can shower, get dressed, and go home. There are sensible ways to handle this instead of immediately going to the knee-jerk “women shouldn’t be allowed in at all” (hello, discrimination), or “women shouldn’t be allowed in until men are” nonsense. Or, just do what other sports do for both men AND women, and let the players get showered and dressed and talk to them afterward in another location. It isn’t rocket science, except possibly to those dropped on their heads once too often.

1) Women reporters have just as much right to try to make a living as men. Men’s sports are the high-revenue sports, not women’s. I doubt there are a lot of male reporters fighting to get the Los Angeles Sparks gig, as opposed to the Los Angeles Lakers. It is what it is, and that means that women reporters will be in lockerrooms of men’s sports teams.
2) Nobody (and I mean NOBODY) should be allowed access to an athlete who is in the process of dressing. This is not a male/female issue, this is a propriety issue. Stop letting reporters into the area where the players are taking off their clothes, showering, and getting dressed, PERIOD.
3) Clinton Portis said nothing that wasn’t absolutely accurate. Doesn’t mean he shouldn’t have kept it to himself, but I hope he doesn’t get crucified for making accurate statements about what women do and don’t find attractive.
4) This whole thing is a side issue, and does not address the real issue head on.

Having been a jock in high school, college and the military, I certainly wouldn’t want women to even enter the locker room, much less apparently to have free reign to go where they pleased. And that goes for male reporters, also.
If you win, you want to be able to celebrate without worrying about obvious distractions. The reporters saw you win – - and they ought to be able to wait until you get a shower and get dressed. Whatinthehell gives reporters the right to expect Instant Gratification?
If you lose, you just don’t want anyone around you except for your team mates – - and that includes reporters of any stripe or sex.
Yes, reporters can make or break an athlete or a team, but they also are bottom feeders, and if you weren’t there and didn’t have a game you either won or lost, they wouldn’t have a story to print. The sword cuts both ways.

All this talk about women in mens locker rooms brings up a question of gender equality. If thr press put a man in a womens locker room right after the game what would happen. I mean, would you like to see Bob Costas interveiw a half dressed Anna Kournakova after a match at Wimbledon? Put the shoe on the other foot and see how it fits. Do you think female athletes would be comfortable in that situation?
I am in no way condoning what alledgely happened in the Jets locker room, but if feel like the press, teams, and league should use better judgement in situations regaurding different genders in locker rooms. Would you send your wife or mother into a locker room filled with half dressed men? Not likely. Do you think your wife mother would feel comfortable interview a woman in her underwear? Probabay not.
Bottom line everyone (players included) needs to use better judgement.

Give Inez a break. She DID NOT file the complaint. She tweeted that she was waiting for Sanchez and felt embarrassed to be in there. Another woman journalist filed the complaint for her. Inez thought the women overreacted, but said now that it’s done, she’ll let the NFL decide if the players acted inappropriately. She has reported on athletes around the world and never had this problem before.
I believe reporters are allowed only limited locker-room access. When female reporters were included, players were told to wait until they were gone before disrobing. A better solution would be to bar ALL reporters from the locker room and set up a media room for interviews.

The NFLPA needs to get a set and protect the players. The locker room should be off limits except if your a player or personnel.
Women in the locker room or flying around is total in appropriate. Its not about going back limiting women’s rights but it almost your asking for it.
I would like to be the first guy who looks hot and gets to go in WNBA locker room and complains about discrimination. Nothing about or against women… but until the world makes a public universal dressing rooms… the opposite sex should be banned. And the same sex should be off limits as well.
I think the world forgets these are grown men…
The NFLPA and Mr. Goodell just need to ban both sexes from the locker room.

All this talk about men reporters being in a woman’s locker room after a game is dumb. In the WNBA, how many ACTUALLY want a MAN? Very few. Get over it.
Athletes can’t be held to a different standard in any facet of life. If I did the same crap the Jets did in my office, I would be out on the street quicker then Rex at the Chinese Buffet.
Restraint and decorum IS a learn-able trait.
