Clowney in, Woodhead out for the Jets

When the Jets gave receiver David Clowney his walking papers in the final episode of Hard Knocks, they told him that he could be back.

And he is.

The Jets have announced that Clowney has been re-signed.  Also, multiple reports indicate that Danny Woodhead, who had moved recently to receiver, has been waived.

Our guess is that Clowney is keeping a seat warm for Santonio Holmes, and that barring injury to another wideout Clowney will be cut once Holmes returns from a four-game suspension.

    They waived Rudy???

Don’t bet against Bricklon being the one cut. It was his penalty that gave the Ravens new life in their only touchdown drive last night. Even if that infraction wouldn’t have been called he could have gotten a penalty for grabbing the shirt of his nose tackle and leaping over him.

Well, if Clowney can’t join that circus, something is wrong.

Damn, Woodhead looked like a mini-welker.
    Someone should snag him.

Woodhead as we know from what his coaches said on Hard Knocks “won’t fumbel” & “can play any position”.
Additionally, unless he is slow now due to his knee injury in his rookie season, he is as fast as most cornerbacks.
I don’t understand why he is not playing in the NFL.

Does it really matter? The Jets suck! So lets move on…. Dolphins 1-0 Jets 0-1… Were gonna beat you this year AGAIN!

Clowney and Woodhead were the intellectuals of the Jet lockerroom.

nyjest31- pretty weak trying to deflect that laugh fest of your last night… As well, Buffalo will take you with another round of that slop.
We’re ALL still laughing at the total lack of offense and mistakes. What a train wreck!

Someone will pick up Woodhead. He’s too good to not be playing somewhere.

Clowney and Woodhead love to chum around together. At least when Clowney isn’t being henpecked by his girlfriend Betty.

Woodhead is better than being waiver wire material all the time. I look forward to this bit being wrong or Woodhead winding up on some team.

This will change everything! Replace the 10th string receiver with a guy you originally cut. I can’t see them losing another game from here on in.

Some Fans, care to look at it objectively?
    Dolphins offense scored 13 on Buffalo’s D
Jets offense scored 9 on Ravens D
    Which performance is better?
Dolphins D gives up 10 to Buffalo.
Jets D gives up 10 to Ravens.
Again I ask which performance was better.
The Jets O sucked ass Monday and the defense gave up critical stupid penalties all night. Yet they still outperformed the Dolfags.
I know your in your glory this week but it’s a long season boy.

Somefans…you should concern yourself with the fact that the Dolphins haven’t won a playoff game in over a decade.
Now I know you’re slightly retarded so let me give you a definition of a decade:
“A decade is a period of ten years”
I see you have no personal accomplishments and that you live too vicariously through your team so that being said…..aren’t you at all embarrassed? You should be LOL

That’s one way to look at it. How about looking at it this way…
    Jets total yards 176
    Ravens total yards 282
    Fins total yards 296
    Bills total yards 166
Jets recovered 2 fumbles and had an INT and you only scored 9 points.
The D played well, but the Offense totally sucked.
I doubt you are going to get 3 turnovers against the Fins.
Also, about 80 yards that the Fins gave up was in a prevent style D when the Bills finally scored. The game was never that close until then.
The Ravens pounded your ass. It was their turnovers that gave you a chance.
All this doesn’t matter because in 2 weeks, you will get your ass kicked by the Fins.
It’s funny because we talk about how bad the Jets played on Offense and of course their crying fans start trying to make a comparison to how the Fins played against Buffalo etc. Just take it like a man, any good college defense could have stopped your offense that night.
