Danny Woodhead among Patriots-Jets inactives

In case anyone thought the Patriots’ interesting decision to sign Danny Woodhead on Saturday meant he would play against the Jets on Sunday, it doesn’t.

Woodhead is among the Patriots’ inactives for today’s game.

The Patriots’ other inactives are defensive end Brandon Deaderick, linebacker Dane Fletcher, tackle Nick Kaczur, tackle Steve Maneri, tackle Quinn Ojinnaka, wide receiver Taylor Price and cornerback Terrence Wheatley.

The Jets’ inactives are tackle Patrick Brown, third quarterback Kellen Clemens, tight end Jeff Cumberland, defensive end Marcus Dixon, tackle Vladimir Ducasse, defensive tackle Howard Green, running back
Joe McKnight and linebacker Calvin Pace.

    Well, that worked out. Without Danny Woodhead, the Pasts might have lost by three touchdowns.
