“Bromartie” was covering “Brandy” Moss one on one when he “bintercepted” that Tom “Brady” pass. “Brandy” isn’t even a top 5 WR anymore and his quitting on plays is more and more evident.
Maybe you went to say “there are several extremely lazy wide receivers but there are NONE that can truly take off more plays than Randy Moss, NONE”

@texasPHINSfan – HAHAHHA…..do you think I was making a swipe? I was just clearly pointing out some things fish fans like to ignore. Also, funny how you point out that part but not the fact that Miami did not even sell out that game and the fact that they needed a radio station to give them away.
Also, your team will not continue to win only putting up 15 points a game. Somewhere down the line and it may be this weekend you will need your QB to throw the ball and put points on the board which he has yet to do. If you are ok with running and scoring 15 by all means, congrats!

How is the number of Jet fans in Sun Life Stadium a swipe at the Dolphins? If anything it shows how crappy New York is, that they all have to move down to Florida because it’s far nicer down there.

I’m 100% ok with Henne throwing for only 100 yards if we’re pounding the ball on the ground and winning games. Our defense is good enough that our offense doesn’t have to catch up.

Were you at either game? I was at both (I live in South FLA) and you clearly were not at either because if you were, you certainly would have heard the loud and often J! E! T! S! chants in Miami. Maybe you missed it but there seemed to be far more Jets fans there. Not to mention you didnt even sell out that game, the local radio station had to buy the extras and was giving them away (I believe Power 96)….

Bevis….you and Rex deserve each other, all talk and little to back it up with. Funny….but there was all the talk and disputing whether Bevis had help last year covering Moss and the replay’s show he did have plenty of help but yesterday it was LIVE….it was there for everyone to SEE….one of the very few times that Bevis played Moss one on one and………..toast which then equalled “hammy (excuse)”. There are several corners who are better than Bevis but there is NONE that can truely play Moss one on one, NONE! They don’t call him the FREAK for nothing. Wish he would come back to the Vikings.

Everybody feels the rath of moss eventually. theres no exceptions especialy to the best defensive player in football pretending to re injure his hamstring as soon as hes disrespected by moss. while the rest of the team worked their asses off he sat on his lazy ass all summer. he should have the healthiest set of legs in the nfl. Considering the “work” he put in during the offseason i would make his ass play injured or not.

* I’m sure Brandon Marshall can, and will, do more. Most people believe he will as he develops within the Dolphin offense.
Still, you (a Jets fan) are saying he has done nothing this year.
Here’s nothing:
2 games, 12 catches, 124 yards….plus a few crushing downfield blocks.
Here’s the Jets’ top wide receivers this year:
Edwards:
2 games, 6 catches, 54 yards
Cotchery:
2 games, 6 catches, 44 yards
The Jets top wide receivers have combined to catch the same number of balls, for less yards, than Marshall…yet you, a Jets fan, thinks Marshall has done nothing. Hmmm.
The Dolphins have won two road games. One against the overtime runner up in the NFC Championship game. Garbage team? They took the Saints to overtime – that close to the Super Bowl. How is that garbage?
The Bills are certainly a garbage team within the division. No division game is a gimme but the Bills are close to it. By the way, didn’t the Jets lose to the garbage Bills at home last year?
Anyway, the Jets split two games at home, or the Giants’ home in New Jersey, against early-exit playoff teams. Not bad. Not great.
By the way, check your screen name. The football team name is J-E-T-S, not M-E-T-S. You think it would sink in after Fireman Ed has made you guys repeat it over and over at your games.

The Dolphins have no offense against Buffalo and Minnesota but as far as you’re concerned it’s gonna show up against the Jets because 1) it is their first home game 2) they usually play well in night games 3) the miami offense is capable of keeping the ball on long drives which should wear down the Jets’ aggressive defense.
And one of these two teams, Buffalo and Minnesota, will likely beat the Jets.
I see you have this all figured out.
The Dolphins have had no offense through two games. I wouldn’t be surprised if Miami gets shut out. And I’ll be right there to see it. A fun time will be had by all. (Except for Soprano)

And I told you, that Revis was looking for an excuse for explaining away any help he was given to cover Moss or for a poor game against Moss.
The one play that Revis played Moss true man on man he was beat off the line by Moss for an easy TD by Moss.
QBs do not throw at a corner 111 times as they threw at Revis in 2009 if they are afraid of you. When the NFL QBs are truly afraid of a corner they do not throw 111 passes at him in three years combined. Nnamdi Asomugha did not have 111 passes tossed his way in years 2007. 2008 and 2009 combined. That is right in years 2007, 2008 & 2009 combined the balls tossed Nnamdi’s way do not total 111 passes. As a matter of fact in 2009 Revis allowed more completions then Nnamdi had passes tossed his way. That is a true shut down corner.
I cannot wait to hear the Jets and Revis excuses the next time he faces Moss.

Congrats on a great win, but I expect Sanchez to revert back to a turnover machine if they continue with the aggressive play calling. This defensive scheme is different and the players are in position to make more plays. Sunday will be a great game, as usual for this rivalry. Both defenses are good but I think miami has a slight edge because 1) it is their first home game 2) they usually play well in night games 3) the miami offense is capable of keeping the ball on long drives which should wear down the Jets’ aggressive defense. Miami’s defense should be fresher late in a close game. Both teams have a knack for calling stupid plays at critical points in the game and it may just come down to which staff has a smarter game

If showing up to camp ensures that you will not get a hamstring injury… Then how do you all explain how all those instances where a guy tweaked guy tweaked his hamstring even though he did show up to camp?
Maybe because their is no real relationship between the two, and it is correlative at best.
It’s like saying the last three car accidents that occurred showed evidence that the drivers ate cheeseburgers for lunch. So based on that we start assuming that eating cheesburgers for lunch results in car accidents. See how little sense that makes. Maybe those three drivers were just bad drivers. What about the hundred other drivers who also ate cheeseburgers for lunch that didn’t get into accidents?
