Jason Witten, Mike Jenkins, David Buehler all appear set for Sunday

J. Witten4.jpgCowboys tight end Jason Witten and cornerback Mike Jenkins both say they should be ready to play Sunday as Dallas tries to save their season against the Houston Texans.

It’s not up to Witten whether he plays — as he learned Sunday — but it’s a good sign Witten says he feels no symptoms the day after, according to Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com.  Witten doesn’t see his status being an issue like it was when team doctors didn’t let him back on the field against Chicago.

“It gets a little intense out there,” Witten said. “Those trainers and
doctors have my best interest at heart and they make those decisions.
You want to get back out there and help your team compete and try to
find a way to win, and unfortunately we weren’t able to do that, but I
understand that.”

Cornerback Mike Jenkins says his knee injury is minor and he should play.  Kicker David Buehler is healthy, but there were questions about his job security.  He’ll be back.

“I look at him the way i look at our team,” coach Wade Phillips said via the Dallas Morning News. “He was
two out of three. That’s about what we were.”

The Cowboys are zero-for-two in the only stat that matters.  At least it looks like they’ll be close to full strength as they try to avoid going 0-3.

WHO GIVES A CRAP THEY ARE 0-2.
NEW RULE: If your team is 2 games below .500 STFU, you don’t get to talk.

CUT THE KICKER. SWEET JESUS. MCBRIAR, CAN’T PULL DOUBLE DUTY? and treat this like Madden 95 and put the code in where we can have 11 DeMarcus Wares on the field.

David Buehler? What a joke. They better get a real kicker, not that it is gonna matter.

BigBlue, I’m guessing 0-4. Even after the bye week, they are going to hav their hands full with the Titans.

wow!! we have all these texan fans who r excited about winning 2 freakin games in a row!!! i guess understandable since it doesent happen to often! reminds me a bit of the giant fans mouthin off last year during the impressive undeafeated run. we maybe 0-2 but at least we were competitive, the gmen better be prepaired for many blow-outs like last night!! and really houston fans get a life!!! i think we all know the boys will be stormin back!!

Yeah, Vinee you do have a point. Now we have freakin Texans fans breaking their neck to jump on the bandwagon and all of a sudden showing up on blogs everywhere across the country. Texans fans, you have a quality football team….don’t get carried away with the hype and become complacent like we have. That will hurt your chances…..trust me, I’ve been through it for the last three years. Enjoy your success and be sure to have your lower extremities properly insured so when you plunge off the freaking bandwagon after the Colts and Titans stomp out your chances of making the playoffs, at least you’ll be able to feed your children.

    Vinne
be ready to watch the giants in your stadium in Feb
The cowpukes have not stormed anything in years.
Yes the Giants got it handed to me played the best QB to ever strap it on.
Worse then that we got Payton after a loss he was not going to be like the cowpukes.
Sorry to say we have Manning two but then no team has a smarter QB then Payton
While most teams have cheerleaders smarter then Romo

Are they going to be screening Little Giants on the big screen? Because after overrated Eli’s true colors came out last night, the only thing he’ll be playing in Feb is golf.
