It’s not up to Witten whether he plays — as he learned Sunday — but it’s a good sign Witten says he feels no symptoms the day after, according to Tim McMahon of ESPNDallas.com. Witten doesn’t see his status being an issue like it was when team doctors didn’t let him back on the field against Chicago.
“It gets a little intense out there,” Witten said. “Those trainers and
doctors have my best interest at heart and they make those decisions.
You want to get back out there and help your team compete and try to
find a way to win, and unfortunately we weren’t able to do that, but I
Cornerback Mike Jenkins says his knee injury is minor and he should play. Kicker David Buehler is healthy, but there were questions about his job security. He’ll be back.
