Bengals receiver Terrell Owens has done a nice job lately of avoiding taking potshots at teammates. By all appearances, he’s satisfying his urge to stir things up by taking potshots and guys who play for other teams.
A couple of weeks ago, T.O. took aim at Brett Favre. Last week, it was Mark Sanchez.
After the Bengals’ win over the Ravens on Sunday, Terrell took to Twitter to chide Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis.
“I see the ‘revis island’ gettin exposed!” Owens wrote. “Now his hammy is hurting!!” T.O. also apparently believes that the media is in the tank for Revis, arguing that “commentators make excuses for him!”
Owens has extra motivation to target Revis, given that T.O. is one of the guys Revis called a slouch earlier this year. As it turns out, Revis will get a crack at Owens and Randy Moss (the “other” 81 . . . and the “other” slouch) in consecutive weeks, starting on Thanksgiving night.
