Still waiting for someone to get back to me on my
2 questions:
Just wanted to ask a few things.
1st: Kevin Kolb is a big time hunter, his favorite way to kill innocent animals is with a cross bow.
How is this so very different than dog fighting?
If your answer is “hunting is legal” lets ask the animals if it makes a difference legal or not.
2nd: what does voting for Obama have to do with football?
Also it’s Monday morning and, How bout them Eagles, how bout them eagles!!!!!!!!!

I haven’t heard whether Vick killed them personally or not. I’ve never gotten an answer on that.
As an Eagles fan and animal lover, here is what I think: Vick did a terrible thing and paid the price. He will still need to continue atoning and changing his life. But for now, that ship has sailed. We have him…that is not changing. So his past really cannot play into it at this point. It’s irrelevant to a football discussion.
And that discussion is who to use. Until Monday or so, I was still on the side of Kolb. Why? Because he was named the starter, prepped as the starter, etc. He had one bad half of football and an injury, most of which wasn’t his fault. However, I started to come around on Monday. Most of my thinking relates to the offensive line. The offense also just looked flat under Kolb, even though it was only a half of football. The difference in the TEAM when Vick took over was really something. Even the defense played better.
So, I’m on board with this. I think Reid made the right call, though I also think Kolb went nuts when Reid told him (listen to his answers on Kolb’s reaction).

Defensing quarterbacks with the speed + courage to run is a tall order. I learned that the painful way watching Fran run circles around the Packers for what seemed like an eternity in the 70′s. We had y-e-a-r-s to plan contain schemes but we never could contain him or catch him.
Given the still-painful Tarkenton experience, Vick had me worried from the moment he emerged in Atlanta. Luckily, the Falcons and the Pack didn’t play each other much while Vick was there.
I think Aaron Roger’s running ability makes the Packers into a stronger team. He ran one in for a touchdown from 11 yards out last Sunday.
If Brett had had the courage (and ankle health) to put his head down and run it in the New Orleans championship game instead of throw it across his body for the pick, he could have gained more than enough to get back into field goal range. Seems like he had 8 – 9 yards of grass in front of him when he let the pass fly just before the line of scrimmage.
So … if he keeps throwing the ball well, Vick is a better short-term chalkboard choice for QB than Kolb ….
BUT
…. in my personal opinion, chalkboard logic can’t run all the decisions on an NFL franchise. Yes, it’s true Vick spent his time behind bars; he’s “paid his debt to society.” But, in my personal opinion, the jail time can’t erase the image of cruelty to dogs.
Coach Reid: why would you want to make Eagle fans that love their dogs feel rotten? Is winning more important? Have you ever had a dog for a pal? Shucks.
The strategic mistake was made back when Vick was signed last year. It should have never got down to a chalkboard decision in September ’10.

Vick deserves it, he’s been playing very very well, and when it comes to PETA, f*ck PETA. they already got it in with Vick plenty. if they want to come after him now that hes actually getting his career back on track, that just proves that those completely over the top liberals are really just spiteful @$$holes. he did his time (which was COMPLETELY TOO MUCH in the first place) and SHOULD be a starting QB once again. Reid probably realized that the only way to avoid a QB controversy in Philly was to start Vick, cause at this point the only controversy would be in the fact that Philly’s best QB is riding the bench.

Lots of risk here for Reid.
If Vick stinks it up, starts throwing the INT’s and looking confused against a good team or two, and now he’s got Kolb back in there, confidence shattered and never trusting his coach again.
This is all about PHI needing to find out what Vick had as a true game QB, sooner than later, since they only have him locked up for the rest of this year.

Coach Reid has finally come to his senses by naming M. Vick his starting QB for game 3. Being an Eagles fan since R. Gabriel I have earned the right to cheer, bleed and suffer for this team.
Cannot figure out what he was thinking, trading the heart and soul of the defense, and the most successful QB in Eagle history and inserting K. Kolb. Don’t get me wrong Kolb is sthe heir apparent but I don’t think it was his time. True he had a couple of good passing games last year, but his performance was pathetic against N.O.
I understand the business side signing him to a $12 M contract, lock up your future but remember how you got there.
I wish my team all the luck and good fortune for the season. When they face Washington the McNabb trade may loom as an albatros and one of the organizations biggest blunders in quite some time.

He most definitely didn’t “rack up 600 yards.” Had the Lions defense been able to catch a cold, they would’ve had 3 interceptions……..which makes me wonder, if those passes had been intercepted and, thus, those drives not resulted in points and the Eagles lose……would we have gotten this decision?

In my opinion, it was McNabb and his skills as a QB thats’s, the real reason behind all of our semi fulfilled glory years as the eagles leader on the field, we had a great run with McNabb Trading him was retarded on Andy Reids part. If it were not for McNabb Andy Reid would have been long gone as the Eagles coach. Because clearly as we all have witnessed when winning the game is on the line coach Reid has never let us down with a bone headed play call on 4th and one to cost us a game .Or playoff game or and a potential Superbowl appearance.Clearly Kolb sucks as a leader he has no ability to scramble like McNabb did. And cant take a hit. And Mike Vick is the greatest QB of all time at making a play out of no where with his great speed and legs! I always thought the idea is to win the game by playing your most talented players on the team. And Mike Vick is light yrs better than Kolb! What a disgrace this whole QB controversy has been, when its clear to most Eagles fans that Mike Vick is the superior QB.3 pro bowls, playoff wins. Aside from heavy drugs, I can’t understand this move. I thought Reid was smarter than that. I never thought he’d sacrifice the future and blow up his plan so he can go 9-7 right now. Maybe 11 years of having a town full of morons in your ear breaks a man.
I hope the explanation is that he’s letting Vick play until he turns back into the real Michael Vick. It’s the only way to put the controversy to rest. Putting Kolb back in now would never quiet the rabble, because the last image they saw of Vick was of a win.
