I hate when stupid people talk. When people that have no business saying 1 word flap their gums. Mentioning the Lions rb should be the last thing u should start your point with. The lions o line is terrible. So is their qb. This rookie will run for less than 40 yards. Write that down. Quote that. The vikings will bring heat all day on hill and the lions will turn to that running game and it will go nowhere.
2nd comment you make that wins u the “asshole idiot of the day award”, is this game is NOT in detroit. Its in minnesota. Where detroit hasn’t won since 1997. As a matter of fact, the Lions have 2 wins period, in the last 21 meetings. That’s 2 since 1999. Nothing will change this time either. The vikes easily win this game by 20 points.

AP could have scored the winning TD. He had a huge running lane opened by Hutch but he decided to cut back. Sometime he is a special kind of stupid ALL DAY. Farve even has to remind him slow down & follow your blockers. It’s pretty sad for his 4th yr.
When the Vikings are 9-3 all this Farve is too old crap will go away.

I don’t know…in my opinion, if the Vikings are out of the playoff picture, I would WANT Favre out of there. For Favre – why put yourself in a position to get hurt when there’s nothing to gain? He’s certainly not going to play another year (hmm…). For the Vikings, why play a guy who you won’t have next year, when you could get some MUCH needed experience for the guys you probably will have. I don’t see this as a negative thing, even if it did happen.

He has contemplated retirement a few times but once he commited to playing he shows up every week, injured or not and plays as hard as he can.
The Guy is tough as nails and he is not the reason the Vikings are 0-2. A couple of balls bounce the other way and they would be 2-0

Yeah once he takes a few weeks off while EVERYONE ELSE is getting ready for the season in training camp. I will cheer Favre once hes done being the Vikings QB I have always and will continue to boo whomever plays for them, just because he has a career year last year and able to ease on into the season with Cle, and Det. Why in the hell wouldn’t you want to leave EVERYTHING out there? Its your last season why half ass it? A couple of balls bounce there way and they are 2-0 possible, and if the dog wouldn’t have stopped to take a crap he would have caught the rabbit. Even if they were 2-0 I would have a hard time believing in a team that average 9.5 points a game, part of its Favres fault he should have been there working like everyone else. He shows up late and gets a raise.

How can anyone call Favre a quitter
When has Brett ever quit. He plays a position where very few people make it through an entire season and he holds the record for the longest string of games started by a player. No one else is even close.

Suh, Vanden Bosch, Williams, Avril or McBride will put some big hits on Farve. They got to Vick 6 times officially (sacks), but put many more hits on Vick as he was running and throwing the ball. Farve is not a mobile quarter back, he is going to get lit up. True the Vikings should win this game on paper, but good luck keeping Farve from getting hit by a team that is bad defensively overall, but is first place in sacks. This game will be closer than people think. The Lions are underrated and have upside. The Vikings are on their way down this year, they will go 8-8 tops.

11-5 Viking Season. Show nothing important until the 5 playoff Team Stretch after the Bye. Vikes will be 6-3 after 9 games and Peaking. We Lost to Miami for not taking an automatic 3 in the 1st quarter and New Orleans for holding back AP in tghe 3rd Quarter. Agreed, very early….but how can anyone say that lions won’t beat the vikes? the game could easily go either way. Same goes for the bears/packers game. It’s a divisional game and no team seams to be hitting their stride yet, all but minnesota have showed some potential but you know the queens wont play like this all year. Should be a great week of games in the north.

As a Packer fan / Viking hater, even I wouldn’t make the bold prediction that the Vikings won’t turn things around. I’d love to see them miss the playoffs, but they’ve got talent just like last year. The only difference is Sidney Rice is sidelined for minimum 6 weeks, and Favre is out of sync with his WRs due to not wanting to practice during training camp/preseason. The first half of the regular season is his training camp/preseason. He’ll definitely find his sync again, but never the way he did last year.
Favre will never take himself out of the game. He’ll just stop showing up for practices during the week and try to coast the rest of the season if things don’t start getting better. Vikings are too stupid to realize Sage was better, and T-Jack would be no worse than Favre…. for a much cheaper price.
