The Green Bay Packers whipped the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and Bills safety Donte Whitner says the Packers did more than that.
According to Whitner, the Packers acted like a bunch of schoolyard bullies and laughed at the Bills late in the game.
“The Packers were laughing at us,” Whitner said. “Aaron Rodgers and a lot of those guys were laughing at us toward the end of the football game and that never feels good.”
Whitner says that if the Bills don’t step up their quality of play, they’re going to get laughed at on Sunday against the Patriots -- because New England players have done it before.
“Yeah, by the end of the fourth quarter they’re laughing at us,” Whitner said of a loss to the Patriots last year.
Overall, Whitner says, the Bills need to play better so they don’t give more teams like the Packers and Patriots a chance to act like the Cheerios picking on New Directions in the hallways of William McKinley High School on Glee.
“We want to get things turned around, but at the same time it’s football teams with grown men laughing at other grown men on the football field,” he said. “That happened to us in the ball game last week and it happens every time we play New England.”
