Percy Harvin returns to practice

Percy Harvin returned to practice with the Vikings Thursday and reported no lingering effects from his latest migraine episode.

It appears Harvin will be ready to play Sunday, and his lingering hip injury is minor.

“Went home [Wednesday], got a good night’s rest and I woke up energized and ready to work today,” Harvin said via Brian Murphy of the St. Paul Pioneer Press. “I can’t think I’m not going ever get a headache again so if I can at least space it out where it’s five, six weeks, that’s all I can ask for at this point.”

Meanwhile, rookie cornerback Chris Cook fully practiced for the second straight day and looks ready to make his pro debut against the Lions. Wide receiver Bernard Berrian (knee), cornerback Cedric Griffin (knee) and linebacker Ben Leber (back) were all limited in practice.

The Lions were without wide receiver Nate Burleson (ankle), linebacker Zack Follett (concussion), guard Stephen Peterman (foot) and quarterback Matthew Stafford (right shoulder). Safety Louis Delmas (groin, biceps, calf), defensive end Cliff Avril (knee, finger), safety C.C. Brown (forearm), linebacker DeAndre Levy (groin) and linebacker Ashlee Palmer (ankle) were limited in practice.
