we had our obligatory off-season of favre, can we just sit back now and not pick apart every other sentence that is quoted or reported about him now that the season is started/ he’s one of the 32 starting qb’s, and he is having a below-average start to the season (unlike last year). guess what– he’s almost 41 — he’s gonna have a sore ankle(s), elbows and two dozen other muscles, bones or ligaments every week, even after he retires! twenty years of wear-n-tear is tough to avoid in his line of work.

Something could be said about giving his receivers some time to practice with him and get some chemistry going. Of course, that would require Princess Favre to you know, actually show up for camp.
He missed camp last year and you defended him, he missed it this year and you’re condemning him. So which is it, does he need camp or not?
As a Packer fan, I recall the 2005 season when Walker went out with a torn ACL on the opening game of season. After that, Driver was Favre’s only real option at receiver, and the team went 4-12. It was said then that if he spent more time in camp with the backups that he may not have had to force plays as much, which resulted in a record number of picks. The loss of Rice this year is looking a lot like the loss of Walker in 2005. At least the Vikes picked up Camarillo as a stop-gap(unlike the Pack’s acquisition of Taco Wallace in 2005), but with Harvin missing TC with migranes and Rice out at least half the season, the Vikes passing game is going to suffer greatly.
Favre is a front runner and always has been. When the going gets tough tho, BrINT shines.
This is exactly what we got all too used to seeing in Green Bay once Favre felt pressured to “make something happen”.

I lost all 3 ligaments in my right knee 10 years ago. I work out 3 times a weeks and officiate high school football, in addition to coach sports, golf and run half marathons….all minus an ACL.
I would almost guarantee I’m in better shape than you at 41 years old and could mop your ass at literally anything…including spelling and grammar, by the looks of things. Yeah…we all played high school football while you smoked up your early years….don’t hate us for it, Mr. Lounge Chair.
