Moreno injures his hamstring

Friday practices are supposed to be easygoing, but Broncos running back Knowshon Moreno still suffered a significant injury during today’s session in Denver.

Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports Moreno pulled his hamstring and should miss 1-2 weeks of action.  Moreno has already been ruled out for Sunday’s game.  It’s believed this is not the same hamstring that Moreno tore back in training camp.

Denver’s trade for Laurence Maroney looks rather prescient now.

Not the same oneas last time AND he injured it in a walkthrough? Why do I get the sense that his hamstrings are actually made out of a string? Moreno has been frustrating to us Broncos fans.

It will be interesting to see how Denver sacks up with their 3-yard star on the sidelines. Wait, no it won’t. Moroney got lucky getting dumped in Denver. The level of competition is almost non-existent.

Since when is getting a backup RB prophetic?
Hmmm I only have one running back, and he is constantly hurt. I seventeen RB’s on IR, maybe I should get a backup.
    WOW!!! So omnipitent.

This could be a blessing in disguise, since it is really starting to look like Moreno was a bust….
