As was stated, even without Williams in the lineup the Bears held Ware and Spears in check after the first few possessions. The defense isn’t getting to Cutler if he throws it in 2-3 steps. I give the Bears the edge at home: 27-24, ending on a last second FG from Gould.

streamrod it would be nice if that became reality and even though the bears got a gift in week one i think the bears may be better than i originally thought. i think the pack will win this game only if rodgers gets into rythym, and spreads the ball around. this may be a shoot out and the team that defends the pass better will win. packers 31 bears 24.

Frank Omiyale looked sharp(er) while handling a top physical specimen (DeMarcus Ware) last week.
But more importantly, the Bears adjusted after the first quarter last week and got the ball out of Cutler’s hands with spectacular speed. Green Bay will need, at least on occasion, for their secondary to perform at a high level. The Bears showed last week that they won’t give their opponents time to blitz, even when a team is remarkably effective at blitzing.
