Chad Clifton back in position to start at left tackle

Early in the week, we read about the possible end to the Chad Clifton era in Green Bay.

Following improved health in a few practices, it looks like the Packers mainstay at left tackle isn’t going anywhere yet. The Packers listed Clifton as probable on the injury report after he practiced fully on Friday. (He was limited Saturday.)

It looked like backup tackle and first-round pick Bryan Bulaga would make his first NFL start against Julius Peppers Monday night, but Packers coach Mike McCarthy says Clifton will start if he’s healthy. The probable tag indicates he will be healthy enough.

Daryn Colledge is also set to start at guard despite getting hurt at practice on Thursday.

Linebacker Brad Jones (knee), defensive ends Mike Neal (side/rib) and Ryan Pickett (hamstring), and safety Charlie Peprah (quad) are all questionable.

Pickett should start, while Neal is almost certainly out.
