The Saints kept two kickers on the roster last year, stuck with Garrett Hartley through some struggles, and it paid off handsomely in the playoffs.
They may try the same approach this year. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Monday night the Saints are expected to bring another kicker aboard Tuesday and carry two on the roster.
John Carney -- who was with the team throughout last year as a player and then “consultant” -- will work out. Mike Triplette of the New Orleans Times-Picayune first reported that former Texans kicker Kris Brown will also try out.
