Unlike church organizations which contribute to humanity around the world through helping the poor, the sick, and anyone in need of help, this atheist organizations goal is to ensure that atheists don’t get their feelings hurt. Reread that paragraph and tell me where I’m wrong. Instead of using money to help the needy they want to use money to make sure atheism becomes more widespread and accepted. Sounds like an extremely selfish organization to me, although this is not surprising when you look at what organization is behind it.

If there was no God, there has to have been a magical starting point. You seem to have confused being agnostic with atheism. Now, a simple human has no concept of where God came from, but God is all knowing and has always existed. Considering he created everything, nothing is unexplainable with a God. Unfortunately for atheism and “magical science,” you do not have that luxury.

Aside from the fact that eyewitness testimony is, by far, the LEAST reliable form of evidence, the fact of the matter is that most “miracles” are actually ordinary events, and occasionally even an infrequent natural phenomenon that a person cannot immediately explain. In other words, just because YOU experience something that you can’t explain and are happy with not finding the actual cause of the event and chalking it up to supernatural bull crap doesn’t mean I’m going to be at all persuaded to believe in your personal deity. Even if I were to accept something as a true miraculous event, you’d still have to explain to me how that event is in any way evidence of YOUR personal god’s existence over anyone else’s.

Hence, it’s likely either a case of mass hallucination (which is actually quite common), inaccurate memory (even more common), retina damage from staring at the sun (which is shockingly common, thanks to all the religious morons who stare at the sun), or a combination of the three.

It is actually the exact opposite. Why do you think pursuit of happiness is part of the Constitution? Religion has made people happy for thousands of years, which is why people flock to religion and get disgusted when someone says they are an atheist. Going back to what Florio said and I repeated, atheists are a miserable group of people who enjoy trying to bring down others. Grammar rules are both prescriptive and descriptive; in the case of your word misuse, the grammar is prescriptive, because the two words mean completely different things. In the case of starting a sentence with the word “and”, the grammar is descriptive, because most people prefer not to start a sentence with that word.
