I like how fans want them to trade him- for what exactly? He has the value of an undrafted free agent right now.
It’s only taken Lovie seven years to actually hold players’ accountable for their performances. Better late than never I suppose.

on further review it was Bowman who whiffed on the 3rd down backed up to their own end zone. now I don’t want either corner.

Agreed@phil. Anderson sucks, thank God Idonije is starting there now.
Speaking of suck, plugging in Jennings was baaaad. He missed that tackle on an all out blitz on 3rd and something, if it weren’t for Manning rushing over to help he would’ve given up a 90+ yard TD. I saw him hanging in space giving GB receivers all the cushion they need (don’t need much). I did not see one good jam at the line of scrimmage. when the guy he covered caught the ball, he would drag Jennings up the field until linebackers or safeties came to help him. And then later in the game he gets beat bad by James Jones and thankfully Urlacher forces a fumble, and he recovers and looks good. This guy can’t be better than Zack Bowman, who admittedly isn’t great but at least runs with his guys.
I love the accountability, especially with Harris, but don’t just flex your muscles for posterity’s sake. Aromashadu should be on the field in some packages, particularly in the red zone when Jay needs a big target. Although Bennet’s blocking makes him invaluable in the slot, there is plenty of room for 5 WRs. As far as benching Bowman for Jennings, I hope Lovie watches tape and decides he got away with murder.
And I love going for it on 4th down. Defense came through and vindicated you, Lovie, and that let Hester take it to the house.

It’s kind of amazing to see this all-world defensive tackle deactivated in favor of a guy who played running back half his college career, then defensive end for the rest, before moving to defensive tackle now in his first season on an NFL field.

It was just the Packers.
I actually wanted the Bears to cut Harris and keep Alex Brown.
So did a lot of Bears fans but Jerry Angelo had to prove that Harris and his other draft pick Mark Anderson were good picks.

baggery makes a great point…the bears should get Mankins.
Mankins is a beast…except when he goes 1 on 1 against Kris Jenkins. That was just ugly.

I like that he’s finally holding people accountable. If you don’t perform you don’t play. He alluded to guys having to earn playing time during the week, in other words if you dog it you sit.
Tommy needs to look at guys like ‘lacher and Briggs, they could easily rest on their laurels but they’re leaving everything they have on the field for the full 60 minutes week in week out.
