Paymah edged out six others for Texans job

On Thursday, the Texans gave cornerback Karl Paymah a tryout.  And he ended up getting a job.

As it turns out, Paymah was one of seven defensive backs who showed the Texans what they can do.

Others who tried out but didn’t see things work out were Al Afalava, Antonio Baker, Quintin Demps, Victor Harris, Chevis Jackson, and Scott Starks.

As an Eagles fan , I can tell you that the best thing the Texans did here is pass on Demps and Harris.

Paymah was cut by the 49ers and the 49ers have possibly the worst DB group in the league; They must REALLY need a DB.

SF Ranked 15th in pass defense and Spencer and Clements called worst DB group in the league. Tough Crowd! Not a smart crowd but a tough crowd.
