With 6,500 unsold tickets and no reasonable chance of selling them, the Chargers’ home game against the Cardinals will not be televised locally in San Diego.
The team made the announcement today.
With 500 fewer unsold tickets, the Rams decided to seek a 24-hour extension of the blackout deadline. The Chargers have not yet requested an extension this year.
