Steven Jackson “very limited” in return to practice

It’s only Week Four, but this feels like the biggest Rams game since 2006.

The Rams started 0-8 in 2007, 0-4 in 2008, and 0-7 in 2009. Those seasons were over before they ever started.

Now the team has Sam Bradford and a little bit of hope to hang around the NFC West race. A win on Sunday against Seattle, and they may be tied for the division lead at 2-2. A loss, and they will be two games behind the Seahawks with two home division losses on the record.

Unfortunately, the Rams may have to win without their best player. Steven Jackson was “very limited” in practice Friday, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

“He took some handoffs on the side but was not close to going full speed,” the paper writes.

The general vibe around Jackson hasn’t been too positive most of the week. Kenneth Darby will get the bulk of the carries if Jackson is out.
