The NFL doesn’t like fake shotgun blasts

We’ve learned a few things the NFL doesn’t appreciate this Friday: Junk-grabbing, and mimicking shotgun fire during a touchdown celebration.

Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports Bills wide receiver Steve Johnson was fined $10,000 for pretending to fire a shotgun after a score against the Patriots last week. The pretend “backfire” then put Johnson on the ground, which may have added to the fine. (Going to the ground is a no-no as celebrations go.)

The celebration was supposed to make fun of the faux minutemen that fire blasts every time the Patriots score in Foxborough Stadium. The minutemen were not fined.
