Crowder doubtful for Monday night

A day after Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder traveled to Philadelphia to be evaluated by sports hernia specialist Dr. Bill Meyers, the Dolphins have listed Crowder as doubtful for Monday night’s game against the Patriots.

Crowder practiced on a limited basis on Saturday.  He has not yet played this year, due to a groin injury.

Out for the Dolphins are guard John Jerry (illness) and defensive end Jared Odrick (ankle).

Probable are tackle Jake Long (knee) and cornerback Nolan Carroll (hand).

I am still thinking Crowder is getting the Matt Roth treatment.

Yeah, hopefully Crowder doesn’t get the Matt Roth/Will Allen treatment.

Crowder is not a great LB but his skills match up well with Dansby. Crowder was one of the better tacklers and run stoppers last year. I’d like to see both of them on the field for a few games before the Dolphins get rid of him…it’s looking like they are moving on.

i really hope crowder gets on the field soon. his skills match up well with dansby, as another poster said. it will only elevate the defense if he returns.
