Dolphins-Patriots one-liners

Patriots coach Bill Belichick was “positively giddy” after a 41-14 rout of the Dolphins, led by New England’s special teams unit.

Danny Woodhead went from a Jets outcast to the Patriots running back with the most snaps in Monday night’s game.

Patriots WR Randy Moss said he didn’t mind behind shut out of the box score, and lamented a dropped possible touchdown.

Patriots  linebacker Gary Guyton and the rest of the team “hearts haters.”

Linebacker Rob Ninkovich kept the game close in the first half with two interceptions.

The victory reminded some analysts of an old-school Patriots win, circa 2001.



Dolphins coach Tony Sparano on his team’s performance: “It was a mess,” coach Tony Sparano said. “It was embarrassing. These fans deserve better than that.”

Brandon Marshall was reduced to a decoy role for much of the night.

coordinator John Bonamego can expect some heat in the upcoming days.

Miami WR Davone Bess caught nine passes for 91 yards, including this score.

Linebacker Cameron Wake continued his breakout season with a big game.

    @ Dolphins Fans-
    Was an enjoyable game to watch until the final 8 minutes. And as Belichick said, I’m sure we haven’t see the last of each other this season. Game 16 should be interesting. *tip of the cap to you guys.*
    Except one more thing: Tony “Three Strikes” Sparano needs to lose 1.) The rapist mustache, 2.) The glasses at night, and 3.) The gum. He looks like a buffoon. Sorry, just annoyed me.

    Tony Sparano had an eye injury as a teenager working in a fast-food place, (retina damaged by an exploding deep fryer) and is extremely light sensitive to this day, hence the sunglasses.

    I like BenJarvus Green Ellis and Danny Woodhead. They looked just as good as anybody else they’ve had in the backfield in the past 10 years.

    At least the Jets kept a roster spot for Vernon Gholston. He’s still on the team, right?
