In further news, GB db Woodson just ordered a 50 gal. drum of stick ‘um to better hold onto Moss as he goes streakin’ by him. Packer fans love to “talk tough” we heard it in 2008, again in 2009 and thus far in 2010 but it seems the more things change (BF, J Allen, Moss, etc.) the more they stay the same……Vikings division champs and Packers on the outside looking in! The beer drinkin’ Packer rednecks fit this old saying better than any other fans, “talk is cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey”………and as such, Packer fans will continue to drink their cheap Red Stripe. Also, Packer fans continue to drink the TT kool-aid as it concerns not spending money or trading or free agents and we have seen where it has got them…..Every year they predict the demise of the Vikings but the Vikings have an owner who isn’t afraid to spend money to keep them atop the division. With Moss, BF mite now play another year, but if he doesn’t, I can assure you that no one in Minny is worried as Wilf has shown since buying the Vikings, he is willing to spend the money.
I created an account just to reply to this asshole. First off, what the hell is wrong with cheap beer? second off, Jared Allen would have done nothing close to what he did last year if the packers O-Line was not in shambles. he got HANDLED by Clifton 2 years ago. “Every year they predict the demise of the Vikings”, so the queens have won 2 years in a row, but only 4 of the last 12 divisions, so every year, hardly we have to predict their fall.
Moss is a nice player, and definitely makes the Vikings better than THEY are this year, they still have a ways to go to be better than the packers. Favre looks like shit and Jared Allen couldnt even sack Shaun Hill.

I have so much respect for Cris Carter’s career that it’s sometimes painful to read these statements from him. Here’s why.
Cris is 100% correct that Moss knows “go deep” better than anyone in the history of football; however, this is what the problem is now. Randy is tired of having to do “go routes” or “deep outs” every other play. He isn’t that young anymore. To constantly line-up to take the top off the defense… man that gets old, especially on those legs.
I respect Moss and think that he has really turned around his attitude. He is a realist now. The Patriots weren’t going to resign him and he got tired of the constant deep outs as a decoy with 2 or 3 actual targets.
New England made the best move in trading him, as much as that hurts to say. At least we got something for him and Brandon Tate now has a chance to grow.

It seems like if this were T.O., Cris Carter would call him a punk.
Carter is a Randy Moss buttboy and ESPN is only doing this because they can’t distract their beloved QB’s: Favre, Manning, and Brady.
ESPN also likes to shove these overly positive images of QB’s down our throats because all of “their” QB’s are All-American heroes and if T.O. is involved, they look worthy of being rescued. So what needs to be done? “T.O. lynching”.
If we’re constantly shoved the T.O.-Quarterback history down our throats then people will always hate him because they were duped into thinking that all news networks are 100% trustworthy when they are 1000000000000% pro-entertainment.
It also seems like ESPN hired no one from Minnesota in order to not pile on Moss. But they hired a jerk like Skip Bayless who will lie about anything in order to spice things up and he covered Terrell Owens in the Bay Area.
This network is a disgrace.

Ok enough of these stupid Viking fans.
1-3 after this weekend. Enough said. Packers? 4-1. And Moss will be rendered useless because the O line still can’t give Favre more time to throw deep. Viking fans are the most annoying fans in sports. They are not just optimistic about a team that is 1-2 and has shown no signs of any success, but they rub that optimism in your face. I mean the Falcons, Steelers, and Ravens are all the showing themselves as the class of the NFL right now. And are they on here gloating? No. They have class. The Pack are 3-1 and are we on here gloating and saying meaningless venom? Nope, class. Viking fans just need to go away. I hope after a monday night beatdown that begins to happen.

To those suggested extending Moss for big bucks at the expense of Brady…here are some points.
1) Brady took under market value the first time around and finally got paid what he is worth. Brady is VASTLY more important to the Pats than Moss is. Brady is still in his prime, Moss is past his.
2) Moss, while still very good, has lost a step. He is a fraction of what he was during his Minny years. His production was below his career averages at NE and will only further decline. Chances are, they will decline dramatically by the end of his contract.
3) His sulking over the contract made trading him a priority. No one, no matter the star power, has been able to pull this crap on little Bill and get his way.
4) The Pats have many other needs more pressing than appeasing Randy. Their front 7 needs work and the money will be better spend there.

Yeah ,but, he has to face him in 3 weeks with that high school secondary of his ,and Moss having 3 weeks of gelling with Favre and looking to light the Pats up I believe is alot more significant than him showing up with about 4 days to get familair with the Vikes O ,and then facing a healthy Revis or A-Cro..

I’m not a big fan of the Patriots, but I respect the organization. I would say that they knew exactly what they were doing with this deal. Like I do with Steelers’ moves … I give the organization the benefit of the doubt. One cannot sit here and make the logical argument that this trade immediately makes the Pats better, but there’s just no reaching a guy who feels unappreciated while getting $9mm per .
I think the Pats are going back to the future, re-designing their offense to be 2 TE, and receivers who excel at route recognition. That’s when Brady was at his best. Do the Pats have the horses for this? Right now, doesn’t look it, some young guys really need to step it up.
