But the team that wins the NFC West gets a home playoff game. And if the team wins that home playoff game, the team goes on the road with a boost of momentum to play a team that was on a bye week, and that possibly will be caught flat-footed in the divisional round.
And who knows? Maybe that NFC West team will do what the Cardinals did two years ago, and land in the Super Bowl.
