The family of Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth has announced that Haynesworth’s late half-brother, Lance McCoy, will be honored with a memorial motorcycle ride in Nashville on Sunday, at 10:30 a.m. CT. McCoy died Thursday night as a result of a motorcycle accident.
The ride will begin at 1101 Broadway and conclude at the Jennings and Ayers Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. CT.
Jason Reid of the Washington Post reports that Haynesworth is not expected to play in Sunday’s game against the Packers. A source with knowledge of the situation has confirmed that Haynesworth is expected to remain in Nashville for Sunday’s activities.
