Fot the first time in the “HISTORY OF THE NFL” , the raiders actually had a “review by the booth in the final two minutes” actually stay with what the refs called on the field………..inside sources say that the commissioner Roger Goddell happened to be in the booth and overrode the call in the booth , when the official there said , c’mon we can screw them again like we always do.
Thank you commissioner from all of the nation for doing the right thing. Please come to more games in Oakland.

Sorry, but that is hardly the case. It may have been that way for Dolt fans back when the Raiders ran up a 16 game winning streak on your pathetic franchise, but it’s not that way for we Raider fans. You see, we know what it’s like to actually win the Super Bowl, so we don’t mistake regular season games for being as such. Nice try though.

Not up Gradkowski’s ass. Just said Campbell managed to stay in the game. He was not staying in the game when he got benched. He looked slow and lost. But he settled in yesterday and made some plays. I’d rather see Campbell in there if he’s playing well. He’s tall enough to see over the defense, and has a nice arm. He’s just been indecisive, and that’s bad news when you’re playing behind a bad line.

Raiders got a steal when they drafted Bush.
Campbell can be a decent game manager. I think Gradkowski is the better player but Campbell can be a serviceable starter

As a Raider fan who has recently relocated to Sandy Eggo I have to say, being surrounded by fag-blue Tijuana Lightning Bolt jerseys all day long is miserable. Today was a good day. I have to make a few comments though. This was not a special teams loss even though TJ does suck on ST. This was a who wanted it more, old fashioned Raiders vs. Chargers beat down. Two years ago the score would have been TJ 42, Raiders 12. Today, however, it was different. One team is improving and one declining. TJ is not as good as everyone wants to think they are. They gave up two drives of over 70 and 90 yards after regaining the lead, then a back coaching call to not kick the FG gave the Raiders their final touchdown. The Raiders beat TJ straight up. Head to head football and they didn’t give up.

Completions to the wideouts will come if the offense as a unit developes some confidence.
There’s been almost zero continuity throughout, this plays to Gradkowski’s pick-up style. Campbell is obviously the more polished player and this win is huge, make no mistake. Hopefully it can be capitalised on.
Massive game against a very pissed off 9ers team next, can the Raiders turn the corner fully?

OK, I know this is a football site and all but football people keep making this mistake – forgetting the half game extra that the Chiefs have on the division in the loss column because they’ve already had their bye.
Greb, the Chiefs lead the division by a game and a half – not a game as you stated.

Aaaaand, we would have won if we weren’t greedy. We had 2 time outs, we were down by 1, we had first down in field goal range, they had no time outs and fewer than 2 minutes on the clock. Why did we pass it 3 times in that situation? Stupid! The former Raider head coach, Norv Turner, needs his pink slip along with our ST coach, ASAP.

The Chargers window to win anything has officially closed. The AFC West has gotten really competitive in just one season. This division will no longer be the walk in the park San Diego’s been used to wiping it’s feet on as in years past. The Raiders, Broncos and Chiefs have all upgraded personel and coaching staff while the Chargers have cut ties with many of the players and coordinators that made them great over the past 5 or so seasons. It’s going to be interesting to see how the remainder of the season plays out.
I’m taking the Raiders once it’s all said and done.

Campbell made some big plays when he had too. I’m very glad the Raiders have 2 starting QBs after what we went thru with JaFatass Russell. Branch SHOULD have just picked up that fumble and ran out of bounds, but i guess he wanted to make it that much more exciting ! Great win ! And the Raiders will be that much better when they get healthy !

Campbell is a better qb, he’s not fiery, gritty, or any of the other adjectives you use to describe Gradkowski but he is better, perhaps if Cable wouldnt have overreacted on pulling Campbell, Raiders fans would have seen a better performance sooner. Al Davis will make sure that Gradkowski stays on the bench where he belongs.

Campbell was OK today and congrats to him on the win, but 2 completions to wide receivers — one of which was a screen — isn’t going to cut it most weeks. This win was about big plays by the special teams, big plays by the defense, the running of Michael Bush and the excellence of Zach Miller before Campbell.
Grads’ play in the last 2 losses, and of course when he came in and beat STL was more impressive than Campbell’s throws today. Don’t mean to rip the guy too much, but let’s look at the whole game and performance and not just the final score when sizing up the two QBs.

I understand where he’s coming from. It’s been really annoying listening to chargers fans over the years especially when most are bandwagon fans and it’s pretty funny because all those wins still didn’t get them anywhere close to us in head to head history. And on top of all that most charger fans are really just jealous because their team has no history at all so it’s all they have is to brag about recent success. But it’s over now and hopefully the Raider’s can start their own streak.
Raider’s need to split the next two games on the road and against sf and den and then take care of business at home against sea and kc before our buy week and then we can actually be around for a run this year.
