Bills-Jaguars one-liners

After falling behind 13-3 early, the Jaguars went on a 33-7 run to win Sunday’s game 36-26 over the still-winless Buffalo Bills.

According to Jaguars.com’s Vic Ketchman, the win over Buffalo confirmed that the Jags “are on the rise.”

After a reception-less Week Four, Jaguars WR Mike Sims-Walker caught four balls against the Bills, all coming in the third quarter.

With five in five games, Jaguars TE Marcedes Lewis has set the single-season franchise record for most touchdowns by a tight end.

The Bills started Sunday’s game in a four-man front, with Marcus Stroud and Dwan Edwards on the ends and Torrell Troup and Kyle Williams at tackle.

Bills WR Steve Johnson scored two touchdowns in Week Five, giving him four in QB Ryan Fitzpatrick’s three starts.

Fitzpatrick has been surprisingly productive since taking over for since-departed Trent Edwards in Week Three.

Bills RB Fred Jackson’s reception for negative seven yards Sunday was his first catch of the season.
