PFTV looks at the status of the Favre-Sterger investigation

So with the Brett Favre investigation supposedly on the fast track (we’d hate to see how slowly it would be moving if it were on the slow track), the PFTV crew took a look at where it stands and where it may be going.

We also address the league’s tendency to dispense justice based not as much on right or wrong but on the P.R. implications of a given situation.

If we say much more, you’ll have no reason to watch it.  So just watch it.

Can Sterger win in this? If she cooperates, she runs the risk of her career and aspirations as an NFL reporter are finished (before its started?). What NFL player is going to want to talk to the woman who messed with the Godly aura of Brett Favre?
And if she doesn’t, she’s obviously been paid off. Right?

More Favre bashing posts, eh? Man you guys are lame. Just accept it that Favre is the best QB of all time, that the Vikings have him, and that you wish you did. Get over it! You’ll enjoy your life so much more. And hey, we’ll welcome you all to our Super Bowl bandwagon. Just repeat: Favre is God and the Vikings are the Best!

What really makes me laugh is that so many people are buying into this bullshit story. It’s all a hoax by by the New York media and they keep adding false claims to the story. Then you have the jealous PAckers fans thay buy into it, LOL! Anyone who believes this garbage is a sheep being led by fools. You’re all going to look real stupid when this fades away after Godell says it’s all Bullshit. Man, jealousy is such a sad thing. Favre is the true class model citizen and sports legend. He’ll be remembered like our founding fathers.

ScottyFargo, have you been sharing the weed with Moss since he arrived? If you think that Brett Favre is the best QB every you have to be on some kind of dillusional trip. And the Vikings have never won anything. They suck. 1-3.

Favre is God, Vikings are the Best.
Favre is the Best, Vikings are Gods.
Favre likes Girls, Vikings like Favre.
    Jenn needs money,
As it’s truly in her interest.
    So does Jenn likes slime?
Just not the kind from Bret.
    To some, slime is gold.
    And Sacreds Cows have gold.
    The Viking’s face is red,
As our Golden Cow gets slimely.
Alas we know we like the slime,
    So we read profootballtalk.

mikemcsaint: The Vikings were in the superbowl even though they didn’t win it. Win or lose every team wants a chance to play in the superbowl. Without Favre they would not have played in the superbowl. Dan Marino was never in a superbowl and he played for the Dolphins for years. Favre is a great quarterback and will become a legend. He doesn’t play to be playing he is very determined to win. This woman is a liar from the word go. Money is her game or she is out to smear Favre because he rejected her advances towards him. She has been around and don’t wear goody goody shoes.

Wow, you are delusional and have your facts all wrong. The Vikings have NEVER made it to the Super Bowl with Favre. They were in the NFC Championship game and lost, so they did not make it to the Super Bowl, it was the Colts and the Saints.
As far as legends go, Favre tarnishes his everytime he plays. He is an arrogant self centered has been whose time has passed. His skills have diminished vastly.
Regarding Jenn Sterger- you really should watch the video and listen to the phone calls. He was definitely sexually harassing her. By the way, your star has a tiny penis. Did he really think sending pictures of his four inch mini Brett was really going to woo her? What a laughing stock he has become. I guarantee the Vikings will not make the playoffs, unless Brett is suspended or hurt and replaced by someone who can play QB.

Everyone knows where it’s going,. a large cash payment. The league is waiting until this is done and will the finish the investigation.
She has a great case against the league and it won’t be good if it’s not settled.

This will be like the JFK assassination. Key witnesses will disappear, the phone will show up on ebay…..

    Scotty Fargo,
You must have been partying with Moss, to much weed. Now Farve is willing to sit a game or two because he” might” be injured. What will look better in the record books. 298 stright games and that streak is broken because of a “injury” or the streak is broken because the NFL supended him for showing his Dick to a woman. What do you think Farve will choose. But than again Farve could get the same Judge and lawyer the 2 fat boys Williams got and get off with nothing.

And to think Ziggy has to pay $20 million to bring this story into his team’s locker room. From the evidence on Deadspin, that’s about $5 million an inch.
I understand Childress is the one who is most upset, he thought he had the only pix of Fave’s junk.

money grubbing at it’s finest, she looks worse than Farve in this one. If you have deep pockets or are of celebrity status…STAY AWAY FROM SHADY WOMEN ALREADY. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY.

    Mariann Pepitone,
you are wrong on more then 1 thing… Marino DID play in a super bowl Super Bowl XIX
    January 20, 1985 -
In just his second year in the NFL, Dan Marino was nearly unstoppable, torching the league for a season-record 48 touchdowns and 5,084 yards passing. And he had the Dolphins out to a 10-7 lead at the end of the first period, completing nine of his first 10 passes for 103 yards. But it was a shift in the 49ers defense that frustrated the Dolphins passing attack and shifted the momentum of the game.

Deanna, is that you? Jeesh Brett is AWESOME at mind control…
Hes got you totally brainwashed…So sad…
    Favre= Over rated.
and FAR from the best QB ever. NOT EVEN TOP FIVE.

Wow, Mariann Pepitone. Either you are a Packer fan posing as a Favre fan trying to show how stupid a Viking/Favre fan is, or you’re incredibly stupid yourself. Could you be more wrong about everything?
“The Vikings were in the superbowl even though they didn’t win it.”
    Yes, in Super Bowls 4, 8, 9, and 11.
“Win or lose every team wants a chance to play in the superbowl. Without Favre they would not have played in the superbowl.”
At best, Favre was in Pop Warner football during the Vikings last Super Bowl. The only Vikings squad containing Favre for a full season made the NFC championship game. They could have made a Super Bowl had Favre not pondered passing.
“Dan Marino was never in a superbowl and he played for the Dolphins for years.”
Dan Marino played in Super Bowl 19.
“Favre is a great quarterback and will become a legend.”
Favre was a great quarterback and is a legend.
“He doesn’t play to be playing he is very determined to win.”
Favre plays to cement his own legacy. He’s trying to put all of the QB stats out of reach for others.
“This woman is a liar from the word go. Money is her game or she is out to smear Favre because he rejected her advances towards him.”
Do you know this woman personally to know she’s a liar? Sometimes liars are correct in their allegations (see Canseco, Jose). The voicemail messages clearly show that she was the one rejecting his advances unless you want to believe that it was another Jen he was calling or that somebody would go through the effort of finding somebody to impersonate Favre so that he might get a fine or minor suspension. Also, she has a job in television and has previously posed for Playboy and Maxim which could pay quite well. With this being the hot story and with her being increbily hot looking, she could probably pose again – if she’s short on cash.
“She has been around and don’t wear goody goody shoes.”
    The expression is goody two-shoes.
