Wade Phillips "worried" Dez Bryant can't play

After missing the entire preseason with an ankle injury, Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant has played all four regular-season games.

But that doesn’t mean the injury is healed.

Bryant missed most of Thursday’s practice because the ankle was hurting him, and Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said he’s concerned he won’t have Bryant on the field Sunday against the Vikings.

“Dez did not practice . . . he’s still having problem with the ankle. We held him out again,” Phillips said. “I am worried that he might not be able to play.”

Bryant has been a solid contributor both on offense and on special teams so far this season, with 17 catches for 180 yards and eight punt returns for 90 yards and a touchdown.

You can pretty much put a fork in the loser of this game.

The cowboys are better off without him…throwing the ball to old Dezzy keeps the ball out of Witten and Austin’s hands!
Wade Phillips will be gone after the season, I’m just praying (even though I’m not religious) that the Cowboys don’t land Bill Cowher this offseason.

Really Wade? Dez is what has you worried? You’re gonna put all this on one rookie?

Just one more reason why Wade Phillips is a clueless MORON!!! Why would a coach volunteer information on the status of a player? At least Shanahan has the common sense not to do it. Phillips is not smart enough for this to be a diversion to make the Vikings think he won’t be playing. Then again, you are what your record says you are.

Addition by subtraction. Garrett cant distribute the ball properly anyways. Roy has looked elite the last couple weeks. Austin, is always money. Give Dez the rest.

Ya, you say it will be a gametime decision. that’s coaching 101. Show them your pokerface Wade

Both coaches will be fired after this season.

Well the Vikings just lost their starting CB Cedric Griffin, and most likely are without rookie CB Chris Cook — two of their three corners in nickle situation (along with Antoine Winfield).
That means either Lito Shepard or Asher Allen will cover whoever moves to the 3rd WR (Sam Hurd?).
    That evens things out.

Dear Crypt keeper, please don’t fire Wade…. we love it that the trendy ass cowfags suck, and will continue to suck as long as him and Garret are your coaches.

30 years ago, when the players were not millionaires and running the asylum, I don’t remember them always sitting out. It seems they are getting highly paid for the lack of longevity of their careers and the possibility of injury, but many more of them won’t play while being hurt. Maybe they are becoming “girlie” men.

Did anyone see the game last week where Dez Brynt got hurt and limped off of the field? He’s desperately hopping off of the field, making a beeline for the bench, and here’s Wade trying to give him a high-five?!?!?!? Dez didn’t even pay attention to him, it basically looked like, ” I’m hurt you dumbass I don’t feel like giving a high-five!”. I saw this as symbolic of Wade has no clue what’s going on, he’s just not in tune with what’s goign on, he’s gotta go.

Does Wade “the real BUM” Phillips think maybe he should let players injuries heal before making them play? Maybe Im crazy.

Cowboy fans don’t really have to worry, since we are down to 3 corners.. Cedric Griffin has played well the past couple of years, and Chris Cook looked very promising, with them out all 3 of our corners are 5’11” and under. Unless we get some sort of miracle pass rush which has been non existant, or some form of run defence… well, we all know.
