Cribbs is fine, likely will play next week

Browns receiver Josh Cribbs wasn’t happy when he was removed from Sunday’s loss to the Steelers after taking a hit to the head. But Cribbs likely will be happy with the fact that he won’t be missing a game.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Cribbs is expected to play next week when the Browns travel to New Orleans. The source says that Cribbs could have returned to the game.

Under the NFL’s concussion procedure, the Browns were required to keep Cribbs out once he was diagnosed with a concussion.
