Cowboys-Vikings one-liners

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is no longer optimistic, which finally means that he’s realistic.

Dallas WR Roy Williams thinks the team can run the table.  (Maybe he’s just trying to get traded to the 49ers.)

The game essentially was decided by one play — an interception thrown by Cowboys QB Tony Romo to Vikings LB E.J. Henderson.

The ongoing failures of the team’s kickoff coverage didn’t help, either.

Though a bad ankle gave Cowboys rookie WR Dez Bryant limited reps, he delivered a game-tying touchdown reception in the fourth quarter, the first touchdown catch of his career.

The Vikings got a second-half kick in the ass from WR Randy Moss, who delivered a passionate speech during intermission.

Vikings QB Brett Favre says his elbow “felt great” during Sunday’s game.

Special teams are making a big difference for the Vikings.

Vikings defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier wouldn’t comment on whether he’s interested in the University of Minnesota head coaching position.

Vikings WR Greg “Oh My Heavens!” Lewis didn’t expect to get the interference call that helped the Vikings milk the clock late.

The Vikes did not win that game. Phillips just under coached Childress which is hard to do.
Percy Harvin was the difference. The run back which lets face it is lots of luck getting a lane, was the difference.
The Cowboys out played the Vikes and Dallas’ D was very good overall. The Vikes won by default.
Childress has the best weapons in football and no idea of what to do with them.

Easy Cowboy fans , you’re sounding like Packer fans which is the lowest form of a sports fan.

Can we beat up Childress, Bevell and the Oline now or later?

Greg Lewis On how often he has been the beneficiary of a pass interference call: “That probably was my first one. They usually just beat me up and they let it go.”

Just goes to show you how sensitive the refs are with the Cowboys.
If teams played each other without identifying who is who (wore plain uniforms) I bet the Cowboys and Raiders would get far less penalties

Penalties are a part of the game, and the Vikings have seen on the short end more times than I would like to remember. It was nice to see things balance out a little.

Not only are the Cowgirls a bunch of losers. Reading some of the messages the cowgirl fans post here sound to me like:
Whining and whimpering. Calls are calls crygirls. You never complain when a call goes your way or a no call goes your way. So STFU
Denial: your team sucks. The Vikes punked you last year and you got punked again. Get used to it.

Roy Williams also thinks he deserves those paychecks.
    How ’bout them Cowboys?

  15. Oakley Freak says: Oct 19, 2010 8:39 AM

Let’s just give the Cowboys the win because they played better than the Vikings! Who cares what the score was. Hell they shouldn’t even play the games, just see who wins on paper and give it to them. It will save everybody alot of heartbreak while watching the games. You will know how will win before it begins. The best doesn’t always win and the worst team doesn’t always lose, thats sports, so get over it!!!!!!!

  16. My Coke Can says: Oct 19, 2010 8:47 AM

Can someone please explain the difference between a team winning and other team giving the game away? Why cant cowturd fans accept the fact your team lost. It does not matter how. You lost. Noone wants to hear your excuses. What a bunch of babies. Unbelievable.

romo is very much like Brett Favre..both are over rated but can be dynamic…..romo only shows his junk to chicks who want to see it though

    @ ham
Obviously Dallas sucks but I don’t see anyone here crying. I mean it was painfully obvious to anyone who knows anything about football, or who actually watched the game that Dallas got hosed on a few calls (AP going to the ground to celebrate, an “iff” PI call on Miles Austin). Anyone who can simply read knows that Dallas outperformed the Vikings and anyone who knows their rear end from their elbow knows that Dallas loses because they have no coaching staff.
I guess you are none of the above.

Still no comments from Florio et al about Peterson going to the ground (on both knees not one, and giving dual peace signs to the crowd and not a gesture to his god).
    What’s up with that guys?

When a basketball player who rarely takes a bad shot does take one, you move on. When a player who has a habit of taking bad shots takes one, you pull him out of the game.
    That’s a metaphor, btw…..

The game was determined on three plays. All three were great plays by the Vikings. EJ Henderson’s two INT’s (one off pressure by Jared Allen & one off EJ making a great play). And the third play was Percy Harvin hitting the middle return, breaking two weak arm tackles, and taking it to the house at the start of the second half.
Not happy that the Vikings didn’t rack up a lot of yards? That’s becaue they short fielded the Cowboys all day long with special teams and defense. And I’d say the Cowboys leap frogging each other is a little different than AP praying and pointing to the sky. One mocks a team, the other does not (not to mention the Cowboys utilized two players, which is always frowned upon).
